I really loved the “Making Of” episode about the soundtrack. It was probably my favorite episode. But 8 records at $200 is just overkill. I’d pay $50 for a double LP set of the highlights, especially if it was still by Mondo, but I can’t justify that set.

So no word on a fancy Blu release of the series? Like in a big box with a best-of soundtrack or something?

Nothing that fancy. It's just a Black Series figure sitting on top of the Disney Infinity figure. The Child figure is the size of a piece of candy corn. Runs $10.

Still, it looks like a nice piece for a desk or something. You also took a pretty good picture so that helped.

Oh my gosh...can't wait. The bit where Baby Yoda puts up the protective covering on his pram...love it!
So sweet that it looks like Favreau and company put so much time and effort into delivering a quality second season and nothing looks like they just decided to hack things out for a paycheck. I find it a bit surreal that I am more excited for when a live action Star Wars show comes out than I am for the next Star Wars film (whenever that film eventually shows up in theaters).

I was going to resist watching the trailer. I lasted about 5 minutes. Looks great! Amazing visuals and I'm excited about some of the characters they are bringing in.
If true, then I'm sorry to hear that and I hope things get worked out. I think he does a good job playing the character, but isn't there someone else wearing the suit much of the time on screen? I'd prefer to keep Pascal on board even if only for the voice, but I think Disney could make it work with someone else if they needed to so I'm not sure how much bargaining power he has here.

Ughhh, smdh. Apparently cancel culture wants Gina Carano fired because they interpreted some recent tweets she made as mocking transsexuals.

Tom, if true the show runners need to sit down with Pedro and come up with a compromise, but....a big part of what makes the show is that even with his helmet on all the time you can still feel the intensity of Pedro's performance and if he constantly was seen without his helmet I do feel the show would suffer for this decision.
I can't help but think about all the people who grumbled about Spider-Man constantly having his mask off in the movies so what was the point of having a mask in the first place...lol.
The Mandalorian is supposed to be enigmatic and all that...if the helmet is off all the time there goes that feeling that The Mandalorian is an enigma wrapped up in a riddle.

Trailer looks great. Can’t wait!
For fuck’s sake. She didn’t even say anything. People are way too sensitive about anything even slightly perceived the wrong way. Just ridiculous.

Pedro Pascal Is the Mandalorian, but That’s Not Him Starring in Every Episode
Brendan Wayne and Lateef Crowder are the stunt double[s] responsible for bringing Mando to life.
...In fact, at least one episode of “The Mandalorian” did not feature Pascal in any capacity. Bryce Dallas Howard tells Vulture that Pascal was absent from the fourth episode, “Sanctuary,” which she directed. Pascal did not act in the episode because he was starring on Broadway in “King Lear.”
So who is the real Mandalorian? The creation of the character was a joint effort among Pascal and doubles Brendan Wayne and Lateef Crowder. Howard worked closely with Wayne when she was helming her episode.

Jay G.. Yeah...the odd thing about Pedro Pascal's tiff w/the show runners (if indeed it has not been over-hyped for click bait from folks like Grace R) is that there are plenty of ways to work with his voice and have someone else in the suit except for those rare times when we might get to see him unmasked (which should be rare, given the whole shtick of being a Mandalorian is that you do not remove your armor in front of sentient beings).
If this is Pedro Pascal showing folks that he is that type of actor (everything turns into a melodrama) it is what it is...plenty of actors are fairly high maintenance folks (even actors who are not mega stars) as it comes with the territory and Favreau knows this and I am sure is used to dealing with drama from actors. So yeah, this rumor of drama on the set feels off but also very possible at the same time. He could be angling for exactly what you laid out Jay...just using his voice and have someone else wear the damn helmet as he may have come to hate that part of the gig.
