The pic devilshalo posted has a blurry background. It's what makes it look like tilt shift or miniatures, since at a normal scale I don't think you could have the actors in focus and that close of a wall blurry.

Disney Sets "Mandalorian" Episode Dates - Dark Horizons

Episode release information:

The PR site for Disney+ has revealed the air dates for all eight episodes of the upcoming “The Mandalorian” TV series with the episodes to run weekly on Fridays from November 12th through to the finale on December 27th with one exception.

Actually, there are two notable eyebrow raises regarding that air slate. The first is Disney isn’t caring about the Thanksgiving holiday and will air the fourth episode during this year’s ‘Black Friday’ sales on November 29th.

The second is the penultimate episode will NOT air the same day as “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” opens on Friday December 20th but rather will go out a bit earlier – arriving on Wednesday December 18th. That is the only episode of the inaugural slate that won’t air on a Friday.

Deftones, it is good to hear that there will be something original to watch/stream on Black Friday. So many people do a ton of shopping on-line and have the time to sit back on a Friday and enjoy some nice TV. I hope more new TV episodes start to show up on Friday. It is long past time that BF was not just treated as a day to air re-runs/old holiday films. So much content is produced in this day and age that it feels like a wasted opportunity not to let some folks enjoy it on Black Friday.

Looks like I’ll just wait until all the episodes are released before I subscribe for one month only. Otherwise, I’m not interested in the other Disney+ exclusive shows.

That last tweet about the show "looking expensive" is good. I've been wondering what the production value will be like. That doesn't automatically make it great, but it's a good sign to me.

After reading some of those reactions, they should have definitely had Jon Favreau do Episodes 8 and 9 to close out the trilogy. I'm certain he could have given the fans their service as well as tie up this fiasco the right way. Alas.

Favreau directed some episodes of The Orville. They were great. He is consistent and knows how to direct and navigate big visual effects heavy films/shows.

Favreau wasn't the reason LK was mediocre... it was a totally unnecessary movie (as I'm finding all these Disney live-actions to be) that could never capture the magic of the original. He's a very fine director and as long as he's not being handcuffed by the Disney Executive team, I have high hopes for The Mandalorian at least.

Give me the damn show already!

I have more money if Disney does a BluRay release.

I am more excited for this than the next movie. I’m even excited for the Cassian Andor Show ... unless the rumors of it being a talk show are true.
