Isn't this going to be on the Disney streaming service, which is going to be directed more towards kids? Or am I remembering incorrectly?

Yes, it's a streaming exclusive. But, no one said it's designed to be kid-friendly. We won't know any major details for months as they haven't cast anyone or shot anything yet. I think it's still being written.

If it's a streaming exclusive, I expect it to target a slightly older demographic than regular Star Wars productions. Kids don't pay the streaming bills in a household.

At the very least there's no way they're going to go the DC Titans direction with this, if it's going to be on the same network as the Disney animated features and such.

I was like wait wasn't he already in Star Wars Rogue One? I always get Pascal and Diego Luna confused.

Okay, feeling this. Definitely got our interest. Next Clone Wars season is Mandalore centric, and now this....

Sounds good on paper, especially if Pedro Pascal is in the lead, but the Mandalorians have always been lame and boring when show up on Clone Wars and Rebels.

Yawn. Obviously a vehicle to resurrect the most overrated character in the saga. I expected something...better. Or at least more creative.
And yes, I know the title of the show does not mean Bobba Fett.

Dave Filoni, who has worked on “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and “Star Wars Rebels,” will direct the first episode of the series. “Thor: Ragnarok” director Taika Waititi, Bryce Dallas Howard, “Dope’s” Rick Famuyiwa, and Deborah Chow (“Jessica Jones”) will direct additional episodes.

Totally agree. Because the internet is the internet, I'm still expecting backlash for BDH, but I think it's great.
I don't know if I like the Mandalorian main character, because you just can not separate that helmet from Boba Fett. Change the color and remove the antenna, but I think it still looks like Fett to most people. I wish they'd either lean all the way into it and have it be him, or go another direction entirely.
Honestly a small gripe because I'm really looking forward to this, and will absolutely sub to their streaming service just to see it.

I still haven't watched The Clone Wars animated series yet.

Personally, I'm whelmed.
I never got into the Mandalorians in the EU and I found their plots on Clone Wars and Rebels to be a little tedious at times (though I loved the Sabine character).
But Favreau seems like an interesting choice and it's Star Wars so I'll be watching.
