The man flex between Brad and Dave in front of Alex was epic.

Equally hilarious was Alex slowly coming to the realization of Penny's plan... "I was just thinking about Smash Mouth."

The gay subculture jokes were great.

"It's the closest shave you can get... from a yogurt"

Dave's spirit animal is Val Kilmer.

Re: Happy Endings -- "Ordinary Extraordinary Love" -- 1/08/13

any other native Chicagoans pause the cable box on the maps showing the locations of the bars?

wtf? everything was west of Western! there are no such bars anywhere out there! someone on the show's staff couldn't spend 5 mins and realize all these bars would likely be on halsted?

this also happened back in s1 or s2 when penny's apt caught fire and they said she lived way north on clybourne where there is no residential housing

yeah I'm nitpicking... but the show plays on being located in chicago... take 5 mins and do the maps right!

Could a mod please contact Groucho about having multiple accounts please?

As I said in the Don't Trust The B... thread, It's a shame that ABC clearly doesn't give a shit about this show. Other than Sunny and the League, these two are my favorite hour of comedy on TV right now. At least save one of them and put Happy Endings back on after Modern Family.

First one in a long time that I didn't absolutely love. The Brad/Dave subplot was gold but I didn't like the Max/Jane one and I thought Penny/Alex was just horrible.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I have no clue what was going on with Jane's outfits. Can anyone explain?
