Well, American Horror Story and Glee were both created by two of the same people - Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

My comment was for the benefit of those who don't know the connection, and there are plenty reading the thread who don't.

I've been around plenty long enough (nearly as long as you in fact) to know the quoted posters do.

So you're a spoil sport Sorry, it totally read like you were suckered in. I did think it unusual with your join date but the low post count made me think you were unfamiliar.

Never judge a book by its cover...

Death took the devil with her.

Maybe I am a sucker for non-musicals, but I just couldn't get into the musical piece. It took me right out of the episode.

And I would let the devil fuck me too, me as long as it was possessing a hot chick.

This show is pretty awesome.

Re: American Horror Story: Asylum -- "The Name Game" -- 1/02/13

I thought it an interesting way to not only show how damaged Judy was but also how she was trying to remember who not only she was but everyone else around her, ironically using the tool Sister Mary Eunice brought in to taunt her. The fact that at the end she was able to ask the Mother Superior to help Lana sealed that.

I just saw more in the exposition than a dance routine.

There is nothing more American and horrific than Glee, it brought sheer terror to forge through my body.

About Dylan McDermott's character... (spoiler for speculative reasons)
Spoiler:
All they've said is that he is Bloodyface's son (or believes he is), but should we necessarily assume that means he is Thredson's son? At this point Kit is still believed to be Bloodyface by most of the world, and now he has a son... It would be a nice twist if Jr. was carrying on a false legacy.

Totally great theory and next season could be about him but the freak idea is more likely. Loved the name game sequence. Been a great season. Sad the nun is dead. Didn't like the immolation cuz it just made him even more pathetic but I didn't even consider the Nazi bake irony and that makes it much better.

In the epidode when we see Dylan McDermott's character talking to the psychiatrist, didn't he mention that his father had better precision with cutting skin because of his medical background?

Wow!

That was a good and a bad idea. The episode was great, but then I couldn't sleep thinking about the episode
I was going to come here and simply post one word, "Wow!" But you did it for me.

Sorry, it was absolutely brilliant. Like the drug trafficker band singers in Breaking Bad. Absolutely fit in with the theme of the show. She's been zapped and drugged, her mind's operating on auto-pilot. Trying to make sense of her surroundings. Also remember they've shown she was a singer/dancer before.

Oh, to clarify, the producers said that this episode had "hints" about where the next season will go.

Though, last season, they alluded that it'd have something to do with Roanoke.

For that matter, I don't remember any "hint" in the last season, which alludes to Asylum.

It was in the episode Birth, said by the psychic. I had to look it up to get the quote just right, but it was, "You see it all the time in places like prisons or asylums. Negative energy feeds on trauma and pain. It draws those things to it." Plus, now that I think of it,
Spoiler:
Vivien Harmon was sent to an asylum under a false diagnosis.
That'a prelude too.

So far, from that last episode, we have possible witchcraft, voodoo, or something to do with freaks. Of course, he said it would be harder to spot this year so maybe it's something different entirely.

I still can't stop rewatching The Name Game sequence. It's just the best thing since cotton candy.

Spoiler:
No, because it one of the modern day sequences Thredson calls the police and gives his name saying the others were imposters.

I did, I just think the show has shown that to already not be true.

Spoiler:
The world knows the name of the serial killer

Right, but

Spoiler:
does that mean Dylan McDermott is correct in assuming he's Thredson's son instead of Kit's? I'd have to go back and watch the scene with him and the shrink before I can remember if he said anything that proved he was Thredson's son other than him thinking he was based on conjecture.
