Tim Meadows, Jon Lovitz, and Gary Busey are on a sitcom...
I just happened to catch this on the CW because everything is in reruns. It feels like a spoof show from the movie "Funny People".

Terrible.

If not for a few details I would have thought for sure this was a Fox show from 1993.

Jon Lovitz: The sets are beautiful.
Are we sure this is a real show? Maybe this whole promo is an inspired bit of satire. I lose it everytime I see an actor talking so earnestly about their dopey sit-com character. This was hilarious. |

It's a 10/90 show like Anger Management. If picked up, it'll shoot 90 episodes in the next 2 years!
I have to check this out. Lovitz characters name is Bobby Gold! |

Syndicated First-Run Sitcom? Man I didn't know anything outside of gameshows still existed in pure syndication.
It looks like a poor man's Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It some how looks like it was shot in the early 90s too. |

I used to be a little curious about this show. It seems to always be listed on the guide when I'm browsing the listings on the weekends. I almost turned to it one time when I was bored. From the title and based on the times I would see it on, I thought maybe it was a syndicated movie review type of show. But once I scrolled over the title and saw Bill Bellamy listed, I knew to stay far away.

Re: Tim Meadows, Jon Lovitz, and Gary Busey are on a sitcom...
They are trolling everyone. All 100 episodes were shot in marathon work session circa January 1995 with the exception of Keshia Knight Pulliam who performed her part 3 years ago on a green screen so they could super impose it into the episodes. They were sittting on this for close to 2 decades because the set's were so beautiful SD tv of the era would do them no justice.

Even Todd Bridges had enough sense to stay away from this one...

Did anybody else expect a punchline after the topic title? Also, bring back The Critic.

Haven't seen this on tv since 2014. Any info on the 2nd season.

Re: Tim Meadows, Jon Lovitz, and Gary Busey are on a sitcom...
Wikipedia said the second season was only two episodes and that ended in 2013. I'm going to go out on a limb and say everyone has moved on to other unfunny projects.
