Favorite New Drama of 2012?
 

I figured you all have had a good sampling of new shows. I'm not going to limit this to just the Fall season as there were a few new shows from the summer as well.

So, what is your favorite?

Mine is hands down Arrow. Consistently good every episode so far with action and interesting backstory.

I kept dead shows out of the Poll like Mob Doctor and 666 Park Avenue. Most of the shows listed either got renewed or got a full season. Last Resort is iffy right now for survival, but it's hanging in there.

Pilot wise i think Last resort was the best. However overall series so far i have to agree with dj and Arrow is consistently good so far. Arrow is my vote as well.

I've really enjoyed Arrow and Last Resort.

Revolution has been so-so.

Haven't watched anything else on the list.

Would have to go with Arrow over all.

Elementary is the only new show I've watched, so that's my vote.

Enjoying Nashville the most, wathcing Last Resort, backlog of Revolutions... I did enjoy Bunheads earlier this season..

Arrow, hands down. This show has been great and it always leaves me wanting for more.

I guess out of that list, I have to say Magic City. Feels like it's been a year since it aired though.

Last Resort was super promising, but has fallen significantly. I'm gonna go Arrow, too.

I really like Arrow a lot. Also, as stupid as it can be, I do enjoy Revolution. That said, I usually HATE CBS shows, but Elementary is really damn good. Jonny Lee Miller is excellent and I haven't been annoyed by Lucy Liu at all. It's the new show that I look forward to the most. I'm watching Nashville but find it too soapy and Last Resort hasn't lived up to my expectations.

We really like Arrow, We also watch Revolution, not really sure why lol. We don't really like it, I think its the past mystery and trying to figure out wtf is going on with the power and crap. We both hate the kids.

I'm watching Elementary, Nashville and Vegas, and that's my order of preference. But I have really enjoyed all three.

I am enjoying Elementary the most out of the four new hour-long dramas that I am watching.

The others being Last Resort, Revolution, and Vegas.

American Horror Story by a nose - thoroughly enjoyable with Arrow a close second.

I don't consider American Horror Story a new show. New characters, new storyline, new setting, sure. But it's Season 2 of an Anthology series.

That being said, I'd pick Arrow. I think it's been far better than expected. And I never thought my favorite new show would be on The CW.

favorite new drama for me is Arrow...

this surprised me too being before the season started I though for sure Revolution was going to be the best of the best (whoops). I'm glad a gave Arrow a chance too being when I heard it was coming out I just thought it was going to be a spin off of the character from Smallville. As in same vibe but with a different actor and I did not think that could carry a show..

Voted Arrow since i still have all of Nashville still waiting on the DVR. Last Resort would be near the top of the list as well.

I've seen all the shows that have multiple votes except Magic City, AHS Asylum by a mile, Nashville 2nd by a whisker over Last Resort/Arrow/Elementary/Vegas/Copper, didn't care for the little I saw of Longmire

American Horror Story: Asylum for me. I am really loving this season.

Of course, being the only show up there that I have watched really helped its chances as well.

Interesting that a lot of folks find Arrow to be so good. With Greg Berlanti involved, I expected it to be a character-driven look at the superhero genre, and I was really looking forward to it. Instead, to me at least, it is almost devoid of character and relies almost totally on flashy action sequences. I've pretty much given up on it.

I still watch Revolution, but I continue to marvel how they find decent manufactured clothes to wear after all that time without power.

Last Resort is OK, but I can't imagine how it can last more than a season or so without a major plot shift that gets them off the island.

For a soaper, I really like Nashville. Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere both do a great job.

And I definitely have a soft spot for Bunheads.
