Babies ruin almost every series when they are introduced; I have no interest in seeing how they will raise or deal with one in this world. Lori should have lived and unfortunately the baby should have been a still birth.

As annoying as she was this series needed her and will miss her.

On the flip side they found another couple of redshirts for the group.

For sure. I get it--he's coming unglued, etc., but he walked right past his son, who just lost his mom (and shot her in the head, unbeknownst to Rick), and instead of hugging him he falls on the grounds and curls up in a ball. Can't say I liked that. Yeah, he's sad and been through some stuff, but still...

He has slowly been losing more and more of himself. This was the tipping point. I thought it was extremely well done.

this was the 1st thing I thought of since I have a 6 month old.

They address it in the preview for next week, though.

I can't think of a turn of a character that I've loved more than Carl. Hated that kid for 2 years and now this year he's the best thing on this show.

Re: The Walking Dead -- "Killer Within" -- 11/04/12

Wow, that was fucking crazy. Even though stupid TV sites spoiled some of it for me (here's a tip EW, if you're going to have a "Last Night's Shocking Walking Dead" article which is immediately followed by a "Sarah Wayne Callies Talks About Last Night's Shocking Walking Dead" article, I pretty much know what happened. Dicks.), I was not expecting mighty T-Dog to fall.

And even though I was not a Lori fan, that scene definitely made me a bit misty. Pretty crazy stuff.

So now they have a baby to look after. That bodes well. Looks like Daryl is going off for supplies in the preview? I predict he runs into Merle, who has snuck out of Woodbury to go look for his brother.

And there's no way Carol is dead. If Andrew wasn't dead after we heard SCREAMS in the yard like he was being killed, then I don't think she is dead either.

I DO think Lori is dead, though. Some people were saying that we didn't SEE her die either, but I think showing Carl doing the deed would be a bit much, even for this show.

And yeah, Carl's a badass now.

Yeah I thought Andrew was dead for sure from when Rick left him outside, so that was definitely a surprise...Carol can certainly be alive.

they won't kill Carol off-screen. she's been around too long for that. plus it totally negates T-Dog's sacrifice.

To thin out the herd before they merge with the Woodbury characters. They did the same thing in S1 with the campsite zombie attack, and then the finale.

I guess we'll never get to see the heartfelt reunion of T-Dog and Merle.

There's nothing more that I can add here that hasn't been said, but this is easily the best show on TV for me. No question. This episode firmly cemented the fact that no one is safe (other than Rick) and the world they live in is brutal and indiscriminate.

I found the scene with the governor hitting golf balls terribly unrealistic. There is no way he is hitting zombies down the street, not with that swing.

He's coming unglued, falls to the ground over the sudden loss of his wife after finding another member of his group being eaten & another presumed dead, and you didn't like the way he handled his grief? I'm all for nitpicking when it's deserved (i.e. the Darabont episodes), but this is ridiculous.

More like a leveraged buyout.

Although, your laughter could just be that they won't play nice, which I'm fully assuming.

Re: The Walking Dead -- "Killer Within" -- 11/04/12

That was an amazing episode. I was rather shocked they would kill off Lori. She will be a character that is missed. However that was one emotional episode. I thought the ending was well done. Having a baby to take care of now is going to be interesting. i hope it doesn't bring the show down at all, and change to "Raising a newborn during a Zombie Apocalypse"

this show is entertainment at its finest. it might just be my favorite show of all time.

Hines Ward, who was the college roommate of IrenE Singelton (T-Dog), was a zombie in this week's episode.

Spoiler:
No, he gets a lackey to shoot Lori, and Lori was holding the baby, and both died from the bullet. The lackey is then outraged that she killed a baby and so shot the Guv'ner.

It might be pretty cool if the lackey in the show is Andrea.

I saw that differently and think it was masterfully done. He was rushing to see about Lori or at least her body, a very natural reaction where you have to see it to believe it, but he saw his son and put two and two together and realized not only that Lori was dead but what his son had to do with her. That along with everything else that just happened was the last straw that caused the breakdown. It was very moving and tragic.

This was one of he best episodes of the series in my opinion and this season, so far, is way better than all of season two for me.

That's an interesting idea. Andrea doesn't know that Rick and Co. are at the prison.

Love that I have no clue whats in store next. Just throw the comics out the window now.

Ok, before doing that maybe move them on eBay.

And they are sowing the seeds of Merle turning her against them.
