Synopsis:

"Sabado Free-Gante" - Dave and Alex go apartment hunting, but their inability to commit to a place puts their real estate agent (guest star Rachael Harris) to the ultimate test. Meanwhile, Jane takes negotiations to crazy levels when she helps Penny shops for a car; and professional freeloader Max shows a cash-strapped Brad how to spend the perfect Saturday in Chicago with no money at all, on "Happy Endings," TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30 (9:01-9:31 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Rob Corddry guest stars as the Car Czar.

That was firing on all cylinders tonight.

How blatantly the first two episodes were out of order was annoying though.

Were they? We watched them back to back and in the first, Alex and Dave said they were moving in together and in the second they were looking at apartments.

Every time Penny crashed through something I laughed out loud. And I love how Jane may have super powers. I hope they keep that going from time to time (like how the How I Met Your Mother characters have telepathy).

For anyone who's seen the new commercial....does any of you know the music that's playing behind the commercial ? I've heard it for years but haven't been able to find it as I don't know the name of it. It was used for special Disney segments in 1998 called Monster Bash that were shown with Halloweentown. And I've heard it other places, too.

I liked the premiere but this was so much better.

Max fulfilling Brad's daily checklist was hilarious. When they went on their run. :lol:

I feel they've put Casey Wilson and the Penny character on the backburner now that Jane is a fan favorite (think Rachel) and Cuthbert has taken on the 'Phoebe' role so Penny smashing through things this episode brought back memories of her stellar comedic work in season 1.

I love Penny. She's got them THAAANGS!

and I know they didn't have their own storyline this episode but I was watching some random episodes from last season yesterday and I think Brad and Jane are my favorite tv couple in a long time.

I think I laughed out loud through this entire episode. Just so much gold, even the stupid Pinata bit had me laughing.

Most of the cast (all but Cuthbert and Knighton) put on a live comedy show in LA a few days before the season premiere. It was streamed live and posted on youtube. It's worth checking out Coupe's impersonation of Temple Grandin auditioning for the Claire Danes role in Homeland. (It's about 25 minutes in.)

I felt the premiere was "off" somehow but this episode redeemed it.

Hilarious episode. Jane was definitely the highlight. So did Jane really take that job at the end? Her negotiating tactics with the car czar was great.

Have they actually ever said what she does for a living?

I'm going to be in the minority and say that I thought Dave and Alex going apartment hunting was really annoying.

Casey was on Conan this week, apparently her stuntwoman who did the crashing through the glass pane had to go to the hospital because of the stunt.
