Having everyone back at the same time was a contrivance, as was having everyone break up at the same time--it would have had more impact on me if it had been only a couple or two. In fairness, though, this was the first episode in which they returned to HS, and some of the former members had barely appeared at all until this point. I also don't think it's outrageous to have kids come back to visit during their first year away--the only ones who traveled a long way were the NY ones who had highly emotional reasons for coming back.
