Would like to have seen more focus on James Cameron, instead of easy targets like reality trash and the evil fat people.

This was a good one. 2 for 2 this season. Really liked Michelle Obama beating up Cartman. Though I didn't like the 'metta' moment at the end between Stan and Kyle.

Decent. The James Cameron stuff was bizarre.

I think they've still got it, and if anyone insults me for still watching this show I'll wish death upon them.

Subpar for me. Didn't find the jokes very funny, nor the satire/allegory/social commentary aspect witty.

I liked it - loved the all the fat people in Disney.. that park caters to that type of crowd. It truly is a badge of honor to roll around in those scooters and skip the line with the rest of your family.

I had no idea you could skip the lines if you were obese. Are the rides even big enough to fit those people?

I really enjoyed this episode. Best part was Stan and Kyle wondering if "they" were responsible for the state of American culture today. Great stuff.

Unfortunately after watching this episode I had a strong urge to catch an episode of Honey Boo Boo. Someone stop me.

I've been hating on this show for a while, but I thought this one was funny. Much better than last weeks IMO.

I've heard they changed it but 10 years ago, I went with some family and one of my cousins had a cast on her arm. We pretty much could skip to the front of most rides. You still had to wait a little on some of them. I could be wrong but now I think they make the non-disabled go through the full line while the disabled can wait at the front.

The NY Times had an article today about people using airline supplied wheelchair service in order to skip security lines and board first. The airlines are required by law to offer the service and do not ask for proof of disability. One airline employee called certain flights where the service is highly abused "miracle flights" because while the disabled board first, they disembark last so "disabled" passengers are often cured when they reach the destination and walk off on their own.

Ron Livingston's sister made this episode even more enjoyable.

It's common practice for amusement parks to let anyone in a wheelchair to the front of the line. It's not just for obese people and, as you said, I'm willing to bet most of them are too big for the ride. But it works for South Park.

Re: South Park- "Raising the Bar" (10/03/2012)

The kicker is that if one person in a party of 10 is in a scooter the whole party gets to skip the ride.

No joke, - If you ride through Disney's haunted mansion today the ride stops every couple of minutes and the narrator of the ride comes on and says something like "please stay seated we will be moving momentarily." I have not ONCE in recent years been able to complete this ride without it stopping once or twice

There is a whole line or shall I say parking lot of these scooter people who get to enter through a wooden gate on the side of the house. I think they try to get all these fatties on in one shot - so I see them waiting in a holding pen

Another good episode. I've enjoyed both so far this season.

I actually feel the same, tempted to download an episode just to see how bad it is. The sort of feeling which makes you slow down when driving past a car crash to see if you can see any blood and gore

I'm sure they show clips of the show on The Soup. That way you can get an idea of Honey Boo Boo without feeling dirty.

Yea. It's on The Soup. They call mom "The Human Thumb".

I'd heard of Honey Boo Boo but I guess I'd never actually seen any of that show. So I sort of thought maybe Southpark was exaggerating a bit. They weren't. :(

Thought the James Cameron stuff was funny
