Synopsis for "Family Secrets"



Tonight is episode 2.

This got about 5M viewers and 1.5 last week. Will still watch, but not going to waste my time making weekly threads since it's unlikely this will make it to a full season. But, I will chime in if anything interesting happens.

Hasn't been cancelled yet? I feel bad that Zach Gilford is stuck on another dead-end show. I was hoping to see him get picked up in something good after FNL.

Have this and the pilot recorded but it didn't look all that great and I thought I'd look at the threads first.

I watched the pilot online over the weekend. For me, it is one of those shows I will watch if time permits.

I've got the first two shows DVR'd but am on the fence about even watching. Can anyone tell me if it is worth it?

I was one of the very few who enjoyed the Pilot. Some over the top moments, but it was watchable IMO. William Forsythe was good and I have always had a soft spot for Jordana Spiro. Haven't watched episode 2 yet.

It's up to you if you have time. Probably unlikely this show will get a full season though.

Something about the main chick that just annoys me. Maybe it's her voice. This show won't last much longer so I'm not going to put any more time into it.

Alright. I watched episode 2 yesterday afternoon. Honestly, I don't think this show is that horrible.

I know the chances of this show making it to a full season let alone 13 episodes is very slim, but I think the premise is interesting. If it ends prematurely, Oh well.

Last week's episode had an A and B plot. Grace diagnosing a mysterious case of the week (similar to House). Funny how it turned out to be a tumor causing the mood swings. And then the B plot was the continuing storyline with her helping Constantine. That was a no-brainer the young wife was poisoning the Mob guy. I was surprised that they had her killed at the end.

I don't think it's bad either. But it's not great either. It falls in that world of just OK. And just OK plus bad ratings makes it a hard sell.

I was gonna drop it after this episode (too boring and too many other shows to watch) but the revelation at the end will probably have me watching next week....arghhh...

Surprinsingly...this hasnt been cancelled yet, and will come back after The World Series.

Because FOX has nothing to replace it with. FOX only has 2 midseason dramas (The Following and Touch) I think they will probably air all 13 ordered episodes.

The Following (with Kevin Bacon) can't air until January because only 15 episodes will be filmed.

They'd be better off with re-runs of Bones or one of those Kitchen Shows...

Why was it Touch got pushed back again? That'd be a good spot for it.

The way they have been "burning" episodes on Saturday, I'm pretty sure it is the series finale. New episodes on Saturday is a pretty bad sign.

The fact that during the season they made the first four episodes free on Xbox/itunes/etc. spoke volumes about their ability to attract an audience.
