This show is such a mind trip sometimes. Great episode.

This show definitely keeps you on your toes.

I'm really starting to wonder how much of what we see is actually happening and how much is in Ryan's head. The fact that his girlfriend is more messed up than he is and happens to exhibit a similar psychiatric symptom as he does is a pretty wild coincidence.

Great episode and great season. I hope we'll get Amanda popping in from time to time. But I loved the BSG references. "Frack you Ryan!" MWahahahah.

Awesome episode. Hope it's renewed, I want to know what's "going on." Just..what is Wilfred..?

For those who have watched the Australian show, does it have any of the metaphysical or psychological exploration or is it simply a comedy?

I am really enjoying the "what is going on" aspect the most. I don't think Wilfred being Wilfred is funny enough. But when I am engaged in the show and then Wilfred drops a line, it is hilarious. Really looking forward to next season.

Anyone want to fill me in on what happened at the end as Ryan opened the refrigerator? The DVR cut off right at that moment.

The picture on the fridge was of Ryan and his Mom drawing pictures when Ryan was a child. Ryan got out his magnifying glass and found Wilfred in the picture.

Wasn't as big a fan of the second season. It just didn't measure up to the comic absurdity of the first season for me. Also, I cannot believe they married off Jenna.

I watched season one on IFC last fall. I don't recall them ever exploring why Adam could see Wilfred as a man in a dog suit. In the Austrailian show, Wilfred is Sarah's dog and Adam moves in with them as her boyfriend.

I love it when this show goes off the deep end. I might be in the minority here, but I really liked the season finale last year and the subsequent season premiere this year. This one came pretty close to those.

When Amanda first started talking about how Wilfred talks to her too, I started wondering if maybe Amanda was entirely in Ryan's head too.

I was also waiting for that hammer to drop, a reveal that Amanda was a part of Ryan's imagination or at least his experiences with her since they got back together. I was disappointed when they didn't go in that direction.

Renewed for a 3rd season. They will have a new showrunner as the original showrunner (David Zuckerman) is stepping down after his contract expired. He will stay on as a non day to day Executive Producer.

Awesome. I hope the change in showrunners doesn't change it too much.

Edit: Sounds like the new showrunners are writer/producers since the beginning, so it should be in good hands.

It's always dicey when a creative show like Wilfred changes showrunners. It has such a unique and original voice that I wonder how it will change.
