They should have teamed with TCM on this and followed it with showings of the two films they made, THE BIRDS and MARNIE.

I wonder how they will handle the supposed "transgression" between the two. How do you dramatize something that no one has every explicitly explained?

Hedrin basically says the same thing here that she said at a screening of the Birds I attended nearly 10 years ago. For the last 10+ years she has made these statements that "harassment" occurred but she has still never stated precisely what happened, not in her auto-biography or in any interviews. Maybe this film will finally depict precisely what happened, but then again a narrative film is not exactly the right place to finally share the truth.
Her vagueness somehow makes me suspect that the harassment was something very mild that we would all role our eyes at but that she has profited off of by generating gossip.
