Synopsis:

Spoiler:
The team responds when Rachel gets kidnapped while visiting the hospital.

Lauren Holly (NCIS) guest stars

Episode 5 of 13

I guess everyone here is behind on Alphas. Last week had 0 comments. I watched it earlier today, but didn't feel like bumping since week old threads usually get ignored.

Also, last week was a horrible week in the ratings for it. Mainly because of The Closer series finale and Major Crimes premiere. Last week's episode got 988K and 0.4. -eek-

This was a really good episode. Nice to see Anna back, briefly.

I think this show is surpassing Warehouse 13 for my favorite Syfy show now that Eureka is gone. That sucks to hear that the ratings are so low. That Nina-centric episode last week wasn't very good, though. I almost missed it tonight because of the time change--my DVR didn't grab it but I caught the second airing.

At the end of this episode there was a preview for the rest of the season and it looks like they've got some great stuff coming up. Including a guest spot by Summer Glau!

I haven't watched Alphas since its first ever few episodes but seems like it's gotten much better now.

I really like the show, but for some reason don't have much to say about it. I like the blonde they've added to the cast.

Thank God. Ratings still aren't great, but they went back up to around 1.4M viewers after last week's disastrous 988K.

I watched it tonight. Great show, but not alot to talk about.

When Hicks snapped out of his hallucination, I gasped when I realized he was doing it to himself... then giggled at the thought that Harken was kicking his own butt. ;)

It was nice to "see" Anna again... https://twitter.com/Anna_Lives

Anna was an Alpha they encountered in season 1. She can't speak, but she communicated with Gary by plinking the tines on a hairbrush, and he deciphered her language. Gary was very taken with her, and it is revealed that she was a leader in an underground Alpha organization. She was later killed when government teams raided a meeting of this group.

Here is a wiki page on Anna.

He did say he was in Fight Club.

Alphas is a good show that deserves a better network. I think on a net like USA or TBS it would get solid ratings, or at least a bigger audience.
