I'm currently watching Sons of Anarchy but when im done with their 4 seasons i'm jumping on Spartacus but the continuity looks confusing

What's the correct order to watch?

There's the original with Whitfield who then died and a new guy took over, but then it was a prequel (blood on the sand i think) etc etc

Help me out here

Start with Blood and Sand (Season 1)

Then Gods of the Arena (prequel series but if you watch it first there's stuff you won't understand)

Then Vengenace when it comes out. (Season 2)

Not to mention that although Gods of the Arena is a prequel, the beginning actually does show the end of the first season and is a huge spoiler. So yes, definitely watch the series in publication order and not chronological order.
