My cable system has both an HD and an SD Showtime 2. Even on the HD channel, they would show the endless Dexter commercials inside a 4:3 frame anyway. So there was no benefit of recording the HD version. Recording the SD channel saved me a lot of hard drive space. Despite what the listings say for the CBS show, I still doubt the show will be in HD this year.

Well, it would be a cleaner, sharper picture, -like most SD programs that run on an HD channel, -but totally unnecessary if you're concerned about space.

OMG, just seeing that clip made me SO excited for tonight. I definitely know who I'm rooting for right off the bat. I'm sure I'll have a few favorites from among the others, but unless A LOT has changed, this is who I'm rooting for to win and it would make the summer if this person, at least, went deep into the game.
