Can't wait for this. "Girls" has quickly become one of my favorite and most anticipated new shows.

Never thought I would enjoy this show as much as I have.

Yep. I'll finish out the 8-episode first season of "Veep" but I doubt I'll be back for Season 2 unless I see major improvements.

This is a show I really kinda wanted to dislike because of the nepotism issue... but the thing is fucking awesome and I find myself really enjoying it. Funny as shit and totally sexy. Not enough Zosia this week, but her moment was fantastic.

Speaking of Veep, I've watched the first two episodes and am kinda "meh" on it.

I'm still mostly meh on this and like Veep way more.

It's decent though, and I chuckle a bit so that's something.
I really wan't Marnie to die a horrible death though.

I loved the flashback. Sweet, funny and unexpected. "Scissor Sisters!"

I think if Charlie got to list a litany of demands of Marnie, one should have been "You have to take your top off when we have sex, at least once."

Really good episode. Loved the awkward final scene. That dude is messed up in the head and so is Hannah.

There's only hundreds in here. I'm taking one. rotfl

I really enjoyed this episode - the scenes with Marnie and her ex were very good. Very realistic.

They filmed one of the scenes in this episode directly across the street from my fucking apartment. I do my laundry at that laundromat. I feel weird and violated.

Weakest episode for me, though I liked the flashback scene. Hannah and Zosia are greater than the 'hot' chicks.

No episode could be weaker than the abysmal, unwatchable pilot. Thankfully, the show has rebounded nicely from it's initial crappiness.

I thought the pilot was good
by the way Dunham was on Colbert and said she was a virgin ... that makes some of the show's scenes seem even more awkward

sometimes they do, so they are the initiator, and don't have to feel rejected. Some people have really fucked up issues with power.

Or to reference the Tao of Steve "we chase that which retreats from us".

Once you get it you realize you never really wanted it in the first place.

I think the wanting him to take her back had more to do with her psyche and self-esteem. Plus she's neurotic - she's been complaining about him since the pilot, but won't do anything about it because she's scared nothing better will come along. The "I want to break up" seemed like an "aha" moment for her.

It came right after Charlie asked Marnie to say she loved him. She could blow him, but she couldn't do that, so she realized she had to break up with him.
I thought that was pretty obvious. They were comfortable with each other, but not really in love.

My gf and I are loving this show. We plowed through the first 4 episodes on HBO GO in about 2 days, watched this one last night.

Tons of great lines; too many for me to bother repeating right now.

Her main complaint about him from the start is that he's too loving, too accommodating, too willing. The minute he was angry and wants to break up, she wants him back. She thought things may change with his anger, he honesty of admitting to watching porn and her first visit to his apartment. But the moment he says "I love you" she realizes the relationship wont change and she doesn't want him.

Psychologically realistic? Sure. Brutally messed up? Yeah, that too.
