The Office is more than likely to come back now that John Krasinski, Ed Helms and Jenna Fischer all re-signed for next season. B.J. Novak is questionable.

They also need to hire a new showrunner now that Paul Lieberstein left to develop the Dwight spinoff.

 Especially happy about Parenthood.

15 episodes isn't bad.

Damn. Looking at a list of NBC shows like that just reinforces what a wasteland it has become.

Just give me P&R and Community. I care about nothing else, although I'd love to see Awake coming back.

It's being said Community and Parks and Rec are on the chopping block. :(

No more Toby on The Office? Final nail in coffin.

That says the same thing we've known for days (weeks?) now. That they'll get 13 episode final seasons.

It's official Community renewed for 13 episodes. Deadline.com just reported.

If NBC's new shows are shit (what are the odds?), Community could wind up getting an order for the back 9.

Maybe not. If they front-load all of their existing programs into the fall schedule, those shows will be done by the time we see how the new shows do. In that case, it's not likely anybody is going to be contractually obligated to anything, the sets will be struck, etc.

I say that because if you ask me it only makes sense for NBC to mostly put the ending shows on in the fall. They wouldn't want to put new shows on in the fall and then risk losing a ton of momentum with them if they're breakout hits they have to pull from the schedule.

I only watched two shows (Chuck and Grimm) out of the whole list. I never realized NBC sucked so much.

Watching Chuck and Grimm I'm surprised you didn't think they sucked long before.

Once these Thurday shows are off the air, NBC will be dead to me.

 Not that anyone in this forum gives a crap, but Fashion Star also got renewed.

 Why no love for Parenthood coming back? That's IMO NBC's best and most consistent drama.

Re: NBC renewal announcements 2012-13

Considering I work for an NBC affiliate, the idea of no longer having a show on NBC that watch is more than a little troubling...

As it is for this season, I only watched Parenthood, 30 Rock and Community--and love all three shows. (My wife watches Grimm, but we won't count that...)

So, for next season, I'll have more time to check out programs on other networks or catch up on my unwatched blu-rays, since NBC doesn't seem to want to program a prime-time schedule I'm interested in...

I'll take 13 episodes of Community.

Kind of surprised SVU got picked up again, but at least I still have one network drama rolling in to next season.

Re: NBC renewal announcements 2012-13

Grimm - my 2nd fav new show of the season (the first being Person of Interest).

Awake - not surprised it won't be coming back. I'm still watching, but it's been a bit lackluster.
