Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Episode Directed by Peter Weller ("Dexter," "RoboCop")

In an episode directed by and guest-starring Peter Weller, the team takes on the case of Dr. Peter Treiber (guest star Jamie Elman), a pathologist at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital who knows too much about the hospital staff to trust any of the physicians. The only person he does respect is House, who has mysteriously gone missing. With House in absentia, the team has to figure out how to treat Treiber while making him believe that House is calling all the shots in the all-new "Post Mortem" episode of HOUSE airing Monday, May 7 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (HOU-820) (TV-14, D, V)

Good episode. I liked a "bad" Wilson. So by House's face, we are to assume the tumor hasn't gone down. I think that's not going to be the case, though, for some reason. Sad to see Chase, go, though. Obviously he'll be back, so it'll be interesting to see how they get him back. Maybe House really will be sick and everyone comes back to try to figure it out.

Nice to see in the previews for next week that
Spoiler:
13 is back. So is she coming back for the last 2 episodes? I only thought it was for the finale.

I've always said that this show should end with House being sick, and the team having to diagnose him. I've said that from Season 1...so let's see if it happens. Sure hope so. This is a lousy buildup to the finale, so far.

This was a fun episode until House & Wilson ran into the old lady. Also a nice write off for Chase.

I agree. While the House/Wilson road trip was amusing, many of the incidents were so forced and implausible that it got distracting.

Also funny to see Peter Weller cameo in the beginning of the episode since he directed it.

Are you sure about that? It was a pretty good way to wrap up the character. Plus Jesse Spenser has been shooting a pilot for the NBC show Chicago Fire so they may have written him out early so that he could go and do that.

There is no way he is not back for the finale.

Just because you can't go into a bar and pick up the only two women in there, one of which happens to be a prostitute, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

And the other is the waitress, who's willing to jump into the mix, just because the stranger at the table has cancer...

The look on House's face was great at the end. I hope they don't bring Chase back just to stand at Wilson's funeral.

I don't know, could be a swerve. The look on his face was almost too obvious, thus it could be benign.

It would be interesting if House quits and delves into astrophysics as he has mentioned in the past.

2 episodes left, it would be pretty lame to not have Chase in the last one.

Considering that just about everyone is coming back for the finale, there is no chance that Chase will be absent. In fact, I could see him leaving being how another character is re-introduced.
