It's fun to play "spot the random Brit actor/actress" while watching GoT. Finchy is still the most disconcerting for me.

Do not want any book spoilers, please. Within the context of where we are in the TV show, is Arya's dire wolf still alive (as far as we know) and have we seen him since Episode 2 when he attacked Joffrey?

Not disconcerting but James Cosmo definitely stood out when he first appeared -- I cannot imagine anyone else playing the Old Bear though.

So we have no way to know if she's alive or dead.

Re: Game of Thrones -- "The Old Gods and the New" -- 5/06/12

Last we see of Nymeria was when Arya had to get her to leave after the Joffery/Mycah scene to keep her from getting killed. Very minor book 2 info, which I can't remember if the show covered (the show is already past this point in the book):

Spoiler:
While she was wandering north with Yoren and gang, Arya here's people talking about a large female wolf who leads a pack and isn't scared of any people; or something like that.

We even got to see 3 of them this episode! Most since they were discovered as puppies.

Remember back in season one when people were crying about the lack of direwolves?

Yeah that was great, would've been nice if somebody had posted a screencap of it.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that pretty much all the things in the show that are changes and deviations from the books are all for the better.

Tyrion getting knocked out before the battle at the end of S1 was rather weak sauce.
