This show just makes me angry when I watch it now. So much potential squandered, so much talent wasted, so much mediocrity in every episode.

Not only was tonight's Whitney Houston episode about two months too late, there was nothing in it that made it worthy of even being a a 'tribute'.

They already did an short tasteful homage to Whitney Houston in the episode broadcast immediately after her death. Why couldn't they just leave it at that?

I've finally reached the conclusion that Glee belongs in that pile of shows that started out strong out of the gate with an incredible first season, largely guided by the show's creator who writes and/or directs every first season episode only to then flame out most likely from having burned itself out creatively for every successive season.

Into this pile you go Glee along with Prison Break and Heroes!

By the time it was over, I felt like I'd been pounded in the ass for an hour by a 14" dick.

My boyfriend felt the same way and he is Gay.

I thought the song Kurt did from Bodyguard was really good but none of the others quite clicked.
The sub plot with Blaine and Kurt was lame and though I like the new guy, those dreadlocks are distracting. Nice face. Terrible hair.
And what happened to Irish guy. They are introducing all these new characters but ignoring him.

Shit, I've wanted Glee to cover "I wanna dance with somebody" since it began.

Sucks that the show blows now, though. I'll just download it.

As a Whitney Houston fan, none of the performances did anything for me. I don't like Britney Spears anywhere near as much as Whitney (I own several Whitney CD's, but I don't own any Britney CD's), but I enjoyed the Brittany/Britney episode far more. If the show was once a 7, it's now a 5 for me. I could easily see dropping it were it not for the occasional music numbers I enjoy (and Heather Morris did have a nice little dance number).

You won't know until you try. Then you could comment on how you don't enjoy sucking c**k but keep doing it. ;) I can't imagine forcing myself to watch something I don't like. What exactly is the thinking behind that? "I started, so I want to finish it?" A refresher on sunk cost may be in order.

The episode aired April 24, 2012. Two months ago was February 24, 2012. Whitney Houston died February 11, 2012. So you expect them to be able to get permission for all the songs, craft (write) a complete episode, rehearse acting and songs, shoot it, edit it, and get it ready to air in 2 weeks? And anything else is a disappointment? That's an unreasonable criticism.

Same. I'm actually really disappointed because this season Glee is finally doing a lot of artists and themes that I've been clamoring for from the beginning (Michael Jackson, Disco/Saturday Night Live, and now Whitney Houston) but since the writing's at an all-time low, I can't even enjoy it.

Wish they had done the good stuff in Season One. Oh well.

I haven't even genuinely enjoyed a Glee number since that fun "We are young" song, and that was quickly ruined by every commercial and trailer in the fucking country using it after it aired. :lol:

Irish guy and dreads guy were winners of the Glee Project and were only contracted for 7 episodes apiece. I think they mentioned that Irish guy was going back home a few episodes ago.

That was a lie so he could get the rich horrible singer girl to go out with him. But then he showed up again. Hell he was still on the show during senior skip day
