Had no idea. She is very attractive.
She was in the movie version of The Thick of It (aka - In The Loop) a couple years ago, which is probably what led to this movie since it has its similarities (including forced uses of the word Fuck). Though In The Loop was better than this pilot ep, I think the show does have potential.

Well, first off, Curb isn't scripted. Second, have you seen the first episode of Curb recently (I don't even mean the awful pilot)? While I love Curb, this first episode of Veep KILLS the first episode of Curb. If this show improves like Curb did, we'll have a classic on our hands soon enough.

It was good, but not great. I'll stick around for a short season to see if it gets better.

That's exactly what i was thinking almost word for word. Anna plays exactly the same character from in the loop.

*edit* Oh no wonder it seems alot like In the loop and Thicke of it it's the same Writer/director lol

Selina- "He's got that little twinkle in his eye. He's talking about fisting people. "

And damn, Anna Chlumsky's butt Best Chief of Staff ever.

at Gary taking a sneeze for the Veep and getting sick.

Not everything was funny, but it was entertaining.

I'm enjoying it. I laugh throughout the show. Not every joke is a homerun, but it's funny to me.

Im watching it still. But the gf likes it way more than me.

It's like they are trying way too hard. And let's tone down the cussing.

I guess if you're a fan of The Thick of It and In The Loop, you wouldn't expect anything but the cussing, which the series creator has taken a lot further than they have here so far.

In case embed doesn't work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LugJd6uGJqI

I'm loving it.

I'm still enjoying the show. It wasn't a perfect episode or anything, but it had some good moments and kept me entertained. I'll be sticking with it. Plus, my friends who come over to watch Sunday night TV with me really like it.

Excellent news. I enjoyed this second episode more than the first (even though I liked that one too) and I really think the cast is working well together. I really like these 'awkward' comedies of the Curb and Office ilk.

I laughed when Selina was at the "Yoghurt" shop at the end and was ready to hurl. Did she fart or something at the end when the credits rolled? Plus, what the hell kind of Yogurt was that? It looked like Vanilla soup.

I got the impression that she crapped herself...?

The yoghurt was old and melted after sitting there for a couple of hours. Not sure if the guy did it on purpose or not - if not his yoghurt shops stinks!

I thought this was brilliant. A perfect mix of Curb and K Street.

I enjoy the show, but it's not really that funny. More quirky.

I'll stick with it since I like JLD but I'll see if it gets any better.

Re: Veep -- "Frozen Yoghurt" -- 4/29/12

The show hasn't really done anything for me, despite that I am a big fan of Dreyfuss. I think the problem is the supporting cast, and the fact that I don't find any of them remotely funny. Could it be the writing or the actors? But its after Game of Thrones, so I'll stick with it for a few more episodes.

Okay, I'll give you Anna Chlumsky (who has the hard role of playing the straight man but is doing surprisingly well, IMO) but Tony Hale and especially Matt Walsh not funny?

Re: Veep -- "Frozen Yoghurt" -- 4/29/12

The scenes when the Veep is taken to the Situation Room were excellent. The little smile on her face was priceless. And then they took her binders away when all was clear and she had to go to that Yogurt shop.

My only criticism is that the Veep would not show cleavage. JLD is a bit full of herself.
