Nyc 22

couldn't find a thread
I'll give it a chance for the cast, but they need to work on the editing/continuity. During the stand off scene the female cop's gun changed at least twice. In one shot it was a glock and then it was something with a hammer then back to a glock

I thought it was OK, but the ratings were terrible, so it has no shot at a second season on CBS.

Will CBS cancel it before they air all the episodes?

No, they will air whatever is scheduled. It's way too late in the season to cancel anything.

The premiere was okay. The premise is similar to the ABC Summer show Rookie Blue. I saw in the credits that Robert De Niro is listed as Producer. Actually does anyone care that De Niro is the Producer? I know I don't. I'd rather see him guest star.

I didn't do a thread for this because there is way too much on Sunday that is alot more popular. And I know how this forum feels about yet another CBS Procedural.

As one of the local reviews said, CBS puts more cops on the streets of New York than the NYPD.

I was going to check this out, but then I realized it was on CBS Sunday night. Which means I'll be recording the tail end of the previous show & missing the end of this about 90% of the time. It's not worth playing the padding & re-arranging everything else game for another cop show.

We watched the first ep and liked it quite a lot.

Thought it was horrid. Predictable and you could barely see what was happening the screen was so dark beginning to end, indoors or outdoors.

Re: Nyc 22

that little punk the one cop keeps trying to help needs to be slapped upside the head a few times with a brick
I'll stick with it for now, especially since most of the shows are starting to wind down and have their season finales so this will give me something to watch later into the season

Is this show canned already?

Yup, the remaining episodes will be burned off this summer.
