It was a sweet episode but not very funny. I'm mixed since I liked it but can't say I laughed a lot.

I laughed pretty hard at Phil during this one. His plan after death, his plan to tell Luke, his reaction to the seagull, his attempts to induce labor.

Claire's smiling WAS creepy, but Julie Bowen really sold it as a natural thing that she just did and couldn't control.

I'm glad Luke didn't burst into tears or anything like that. Seemed like a nice reaction to what happened.

I liked this one a lot. I agree that it was more sweet than funny but still had some good moments.

Laughed at Claire's smiling. The scene with her and Luke at Walts house was hilarious. Also thought Luke revealing all the creepy things Walt did was funny.

Phil was hilarious, as usual.

The Mitch/Cam storyline was weak though. And the Haylie party storyline could have been good but was a waste in the end. Nothing happened. If you're going to have Haylie throw a pool party you better at least have her wearing a bikini.

Walt was great, why did they feel the need to kill him off for such a lame storyline?

Philip Baker Hall is 107. Maybe he didn't want to do it anymore.

I got a kick out of Claire's involuntary smiling. I remember when I was a kid and someone would report a death to me, I would feel myself trying to suppress a smile. It's such an unusual response to have, all the more so if it's someone you actually knew and were saddened by the loss.

Dude I have a nervous laugh that I hate. Got called in by HR once at a former job and was (erroneously) accussed of some serious stuff. I started laughing pretty hard. It wasn't pretty surreal.

The episode's title is even more bittersweet in light of the passing of Levon Helm.
