So I am all confused because they replayed a couple of recap episodes that the DVR showed as new. Is this the first of the new episodes for the rest of the season?

Yes. No more breaks with 5 episodes to go.

There was a new recap episode last week.

I'm a little surprised that Daniel, who has no previous criminal record, would get sent to a Maximum security prison like Rikers. Plus $10M bail. Geez, they made it sound like he was the second coming of Ted Bundy.

Great return after the long break.

 Loving Victoria. Her son is in a maximum security prison and she has time for a quick booty call with a former lover. The slap on Charlotte was awesome after the whole pill thing came out.

Emily getting payback at the end to the guy that Victoria hired was awesome. Plus she looked really hot in that wig.

So I'm confused. I don't remember Daniel being sent to prison, but this episode started out with him already in prison. Did I miss something? I skipped the recap last week, but it was a bit of a jolt. I felt like I missed an episode.

Who was the random lover of Victoria? Have we seen him before?

Daniel was sent to Prison before the show went on break.

No, we haven't met Victoria's lover before. I assume he's someone from her past. Maybe before her fling with David?

I actually thought it was David.

But we all know the "he's not dead!" reveal will happen in Episode
22.

.

Rikers is actually a jail. Daniel hasn’t been convicted of murder yet.

I agree that in real life he would definitely be sitting at home sipping a pina colada after having been released on bond. This is especially true since the man he shot was crazy and tried to kill him and others just a short time ago.

Um, I keep hearing people say they think he is not dead. I though he died in prison. How can you fake that?

Man, I hated this episode. It felt the cheese was too ramped up so everyone over-acted like it was a daytime-soap or a stage production. Then the love scene was a Red Shoe Diaries mess. Just awful in every way.

Normally I enjoy the good episodes, and tolerate the less-good episodes, but this was just bad.
