Nice little episode. The 'sleep cheating' was weak, but I liked the Ted & Barney plot line a lot. It's nice to see Barney serious about someone, the poondog schtick was getting a little long in the tooth for me. I also liked how Robin's peril brought everyone to their senses about their silly problems. Although Robin's call to her Dad afterward was both hilarious and sad.
Also, watching this made me realize I've never lived by myself either. From parents to roommates to girlfriend / wife & kids, I've always been around others. No wonder I love being in the house by myself sometimes.

Naked Ted tripping with the bowl of soup was one of the funniest gags the show has had in a long time. I had to pause it I was laughing so hard (and then of course watch it over again).
I have to agree that the Sleep-Cheating was a little weak, but it was kinda cute towards the end with the *possible* explanation of why. Robyn's storyline was flat out hilarious though. I love how they moved the vending machine at the end of the episode. Classic.
Only 3 episodes left? Gonna be an interesting 3 episodes to get through everything the writers have promised this year.

I've been living by myself for the past year and I have to say that everything that Ted mentioned about living alone is shockingly similar to my daily life.

Would have been better if Lily was dreaming about Sandy Rivers.

... Have they shared a scene together on the show? I don't recall.
Loved the Ted and Barney stuff, and the Ted living solo stuff, too. Having briefly dated a stripper, I feel Barney. It's very hot and maddening at the same time. The "briefly" part is because I just couldn't handle how jealous it made me.

Took me a few minutes to figure out what you were saying here. Guess it really was a long time ago.

Yep. It was 20 years ago... I saw this woman about two years ago. She was no longer this hot little piece of 22 year-old ass I'd fantasized about for years. She was a chubby middle age woman.
