As are Leif and Tarzan...easiest power move ever for Jay after Kim spilled the beans - get Leif and Tarzan (and Troy) to vote Alicia, they get the girl they wanted voted off, and the women are only up one.

Still can't believe how naive the players who are lower on the totem pole can be in this game. Tarzan, Leif, Christina...

Loved Jeff's paranoia talk, and as it turns out the one guy who wasn't paranoid went home.

Yeah, I'm not liking this season as much as others. But I have hope that things might look a little less bleak and that the guys might even it out.

Checked out after watching last week because Survivor has become so predictable on the men-women thing...glad I did after reading tonights thread. Same old song and dance, minus one season, after 22. Survivor was never really "survivor" after Australia.

When Kat is smarter than you ... you're really really dumb.

Leif is such a huge disappointment. What's the point of him even being on the show? Though it would be hilarious to see him sail through to the end because everyone just forgot he's with them (especially easy since he sleeps in a box).

I hope something interesting happens soon ... but I don't think it will. Kim's alliance seems too smart to let Troyzan last a day longer than needed (booting Leif or Tarzan if Troyzan wins immunity).

Also, cupcakes were kind of a weak food choice to quit for, especially when they split them.

What the heck was up with the Jeff-less challenge? Was he working on one of his other projects at the time? (Dumb challenge too.)

And I'd be OK if they never do the arm-attached-to-water-bucket challenge again. That and the monkey-on-a-pole one.

I agree it'd be mostly boring--if I didn't have a horse in the DVDTalk game. :)

How do you spell moron? J-A-Y. I'll give Leif a pass, after all, if I was that close to Chelsea, I would probably do whatever she said too. Jesus Christ she's hot and that is absolutely hands down the best boob job ever and I hate 'em fake.

If the boys had all understood the women's alliance to vote them off, they coulda stayed strong by giving 4 votes to one girl (Kim or Alicia) in case the girls split their vote fearing an idol play (which, of course, happened with Troyzan). Worst case scenario is that the girls voted 6-0 for one of the guys...but there was always a case they would have voted for Troyzan, so the guys still had a 2-1 shot at getting one of the girl leaders out of the game.

Now the boys are down 6-3 and the idol has been flushed out. Troyzan is toast.

I'm probably giving Tarzan way too much credit, but his vote for Jay has me wondering if Tarzan isn't playing a long con and has secretly joined the girls' alliance. He can make the argument that he's not a threat in challenges (ducking out of challenges early to emphasize that point) and that no one would want to give him the money (therefore he is precisely the type of person you want sitting beside you at Final Tribal). If he can get the girls to remove Troyzan, then he could get the girls to start knocking off the strongest of the remaining females (arguing that Leif is not a threat in challenges and isn't bright enough to strategize, so he can be taken out at any time).

Re: Chelsea's anatomy...have to admit that I never thought she had had augmentation until Tarzan brought it up & she referred to it. Now it seems pretty obvious (although well-done...at least she doesn't look like she'd fly around the room if someone stuck a pin in her).

Kim's running the show all by herself and her alliance only looks smart when standing behind her. Chelsea is just as dumb as Jay and Kat (at least when it comes to Survivor). Just look at how many times she has opened her mouth at camp or tribal and nearly buried her alliance. She would have been out a long time ago had she not stumbled into the alliance on the first day. I can't comment too much on Sabrina because we haven't really seen much of her since the first couple of episodes.

The only people really playing the game are Kim and Troy...and Kim ending up winning the battle last week. She convinced Troy to vote out Mike and now she can pick and choose who she wants to go home and when. I can't imagine anyone but Kim winning at this point.

Jay really deserved to go home. First he quit the challenge for some chicken wings, then he believed the women when they said they would all vote for Alicia (even though it was beyond obvious that they were lying), then Kim outright told him that they were lying and were targeting Troy and he still thought they were trustworthy and had his back, then he told Kim that Troy had - and was going to use - his hidden immunity idol (clearing the way for the girls to throw all their votes at him instead), and finally he spouts off at tribal about how safe he is. Welcome to the jury, moron.

Kinda strange since for a while it seemed like Sabrina was Kim's co-ring-leader. During the episode, I was running through the girls' names and totally forgot about her. Well, Christina too, but she's completely forgettable. Wonder what conclusion I should jump to that they're editing her out.

Puppetmistress Kim does an excellent job of controlling her idiot minions. She hears them out, and then so gently guides them to the right (ie her) idea that they don't even notice. She does it SO well that I'm unsure who, if anyone, she is really tight with vs. when she is acting.

I suspect they all feel they are high on her final list (If Tarzan believes that, he must know he is auditioning to be the "goat.")

Some may know they have no hope of winning and are playing the "3 more days" game. They are at a point where lasting one more tribal pays off fairly well in the lower ranked positions.

I have no idea if it is Kim's real plan, but I think Chelsea, Sabrina, and Kat believe they are in her inner circle, and all the men will go, then Alicia and Christina. I think Kim's real plan is likely different. She will get rid of Troyzan ASAP but if he wins immunity, either Alicia or Christina goes under the bus. I'm not sure after that.

Again, where's the surviving? This deep in the game it should all be about rice, rice and rice. Instead they have a BBQ reward followed by an immunity challenge with food that is shared with the winner of immunity.

Kim's got this in the bag. The return of the other idol should be interesting, though.

Yeah - I'm tired of these team reward challenges, and last night's was particularly lame (I see people playing that game at Redskins tailgates for pete's sake rotfl ). I figure the reason they keep doing them is to get people and alliances separated for a time so there can be potential backstabs.

First thing I thought too. Maybe he figured the food would come later in the challenge. And I noticed a few have learned to step aside so they don't get drenched. They need to redesign those buckets if they do that one again.

Next week is the auction so more food-eating is in store. :hungry:
