Apparently this episode was loosely based on the Bradley Manning case:

Overall, This was an ok episode. House’s medical situation wasn’t nearly as interesting as it could have been, and I think the outcome of what it was should have been the opposite, because with only a few episodes left, that might have made for some interesting drama.

We're in the home stretch with about 7 episodes left and a filler episode like this feels very unsatisfying at the end. Guess that explains why noone here felt compelled to talk about it.

That was my thought as well. It might have been interesting to have the world's best diagnostician being resistive to being diagnosed himself.

Some of these mind games go too far into the rabbit hole. I'm still not sure I understand how Chase figured out House was just pretending

Because Chase has known House since God was in short pants.

Yeah, it was a so-so episode overall. I figured out that House was pulling the team's chain when he made sure they knew that he took a dump in the broken toilet, clearly leaving a stool sample for them to test.

However, I did like the little House moment when he crammed the candy bars into a drinking cup at the cafeteria and then just paid for a small soda. Surprised something like that hasn't already happened on an earlier episode.
