That Asian kid is so comically bad, that I have to wonder if he's even being serious. I can't believe he has made it this far. There were far better singers that didn't make it past Hollywood week. Hell, there were better singers that didn't make it past the local auditions.

Heejun is entertaining if nothing else. But I think Skylar did the worst. And you'd think a song popularized by Garth Brooks would have been right up her alley.

Once again it's evident how shitty will.i.am was as a mentor after watching Diddy tonight.

And I must confess, I think I'm developing a foot fetish for Elise. She always has the chunkiest, funkiest shoes.

Thank you Tommy Hilfiger for giving me another 15 minutes of this show I can fast forward through.

I love that even Jennifer Lopez can't remember what Sean Combs is calling himself these days.

I liked how Tommy Hilfiger told Heejun that he could only give advice, that he couldn't pick out the outfit. But for Jessica Sanchez he had the dress for her (and it was a nice dress on her).

My favorites tonight were Elise Testone and Phillip Phillips. Ones I hated were Joshua Ledet and Heejun Han. The rest were somewhere in between.

I thought Colton was the best tonight.

Heejun was the worst.
He joked with the music advisors, he joked with the fashion advisors, and none of them knew what the hell he was talking about, he was the only one amused. What a waste of time. And everything about that performance was awful. Unfortunately, he'll probably skate through again.

Just checked votefortheworst.com. GUESS which contestant they're backing? ^^^

Speaking of American Idol, I ran across this video. Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart recorded this video and released the single, in November '11. She has an incredible voice, hopefully her new single, which she will perform tomorrow, is good and does well.

Here is the song that Haley Reinhart will be doing tomorrow (results show).

I like her as a singer, but I'm not crazy about this song.

On the girls side, I loved Jessica. Solid performance all around.

I also enjoyed Erika. But damn, that was a dramatic change for her.

Normally I like Joshua, but he totally oversang that song. Bringing out the choir was overkill.

On the guys side, I thought Phillip and Colton were solid.

:thmbsdwn: Heejun is a fucking joke. WTF was that performance? That was just bad karaoke. If Simon Cowell was still on the show, he would have ripped that to shreads. at Steven Tyler during that performance. He looked really annoyed. I thought he was being way too nice during his critique.

Bottom 3 for me are Deandre, Heejun and Skyler.

 at how pretty much nobody listened to Tommy Hilfiger on the fashion advice.

My favorite of the night was Phillip and Elise...I just don't think America has fallen in love with Elise...hard to when she is up against such diva singers like Hollie and Jessica, but Elise is a real talent that has a certain niche, not sure if there will be enough people to want to pick up the phone to vote for her though. Phillip continues to impress me...he really draws me in during his performances, and changes them up enough to be his own. He is so talented and in this for all the right reasons. Hee Jun started out funny, but now is just down right annoying the crap out of everyone. He is an average singer at best, not sure how he even made it this far. Same with Deandre, who was the worst of the night for me. I think he is horrible. Hollie is sounding the same every week, she has the Pia Syndrome. She needs to try something else besides a powerful ballad. She is boring me. Jessica, however, has just enough spice to her ballads to keep them interesting. I would be surprised if she didnt win the whole thing. I think Jessica and Hollie will start to be splitting the votes. I'm hoping for a Jessica/Phillip finale. So different in their approach to the songs it would make for an interesting finale.

Elise IMO has a very niche sound that I don't think everyone likes. Honestly, her voice isn't my cup of tea and I wasn't giving her a standing ovation like the judges. I prefer a power singer like Jessica.

Glad to see Heejun in the bottom 3.

I wanted more of the red head that came out there for Elise I think and the girl with the red lipstick that was in Philip Philips groupie group.

So what to make of Joe Perry's appearance tonight... especially after the way he's badmouthed Steven the past year and a half for taking this gig. I know he's cooled on it a bit in recent months, but still...

Anyone see the 60 Minutes segment last week? It's amazing they're still talking. If you watch the video, there are some ads along the way.

What the hell was that Lana Del Ray song? I didn't understand a word she was signing. NOT ONE WORD.

I FF'd through her because of how awful she was on SNL. She got slammed for that performance, too.

Not a fan of hers but seemed like she was better last night than when she was on SNL. I'd be curious what the judges would say if she was one of the contestants:

Randy - "Yo, dawg, that didn't do it for me. You need to own the stage, yo."

JLo - "You're very pretty."

Steven - "Hello! Looooove in an elevaaaaatooor... ooooow! Uh, is your dad around?"

Disappointed that Erika didn't advance. Sucks that she was in the bottom yet again. Should have been either Heejun or Deandre. Wondering why the voters didn't resonate with her. Thought she was good vocally this week. Maybe the dramatic change in her look was partly to blame?

I loved listening to Jimmy's remarks about everyone this week, especially about Heejun.

It makes me laugh how Ray Chew has become the centerpiece of the show. He was on stage with almost every contestant and when he wasn't his hands playing the piano were on the giant screen, the camera set-ups revolve around him, and he's even doing comedy bits with Heejun!

if the show cared to try and save her, they wouldn't have put her in the death #2 slot since she was a bottom 3 dweller. There are at least 1 million fewer viewer/potential voters that watch the first 1/2 hour.
