Synopsis:

Spoiler:
"Party of Six" - So many bad things have happened every time the friends celebrate Penny's birthday, they're wondering if her special day might be cursed. They set out to find a restaurant where they can celebrate, where one of them hasn't been banned or where someone won't run into an ex -- something that's almost impossible -- on "Happy Endings," WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Mikaela Hoover reprises the role of Jackie, Dave's underage girlfriend, from the "Happy Endings" pilot.

Episode 18 of 22

FYI, ABC flipped episodes. This is actually episode 19. 18 will air next week.

Alex slayed me this week.

"He wasn't a poet...he was a bard!"
"I'm Dave."

And Penny in a bra is never going to be cause for a complaint.

at the woman placing the curse at the end.

I thought this was the strongest episode of the show to date. Everything worked.

My favorite part was Brad's Mexican restaurant breakup scene. When she stabbed him with the plastic fork, I lost it.

I'm surprised at how much I'm liking this show. I usually just kept it on because it was on after Modern Family but this episode had many laugh out loud moments.

This episode definitely reminded me of the chinese restaurant episode from Seinfeld. I was starting to get hungry by the end of the episode.

This is one of the most consistently funny shows on TV. It's one of the only shows that I rewatch again and again. The cast really gels.

At this point this is definitely funnier than Modern Family.

I still like Modern Family quite a bit. I think it's just not the "new hotness" so it doesn't get the internet love it used to.

Alex looked good this episode. Not sure what was different. May have been her hair style.

Love this show, and getting so sick of Modern Family, especially Cam & Mitchell. Every single person on this cast is perfectly cast.

Modern Family falsely teases Gloria in a bikini but Happy Endings actually delivers Penny in a bra.

Definitely - everyone in my home knows not to EVER erase an episode of Happy Endings or Parks and Rec, even if they know I've watched it, because I will probably watch it again at some point. This was easily one of the best episodes of the series and I think they are really finding their stride.

This show has totally won me over this season. Only reason I'd continued to watch was because the GF likes it. Really didn't like it this year but early this season won me over and it is one of the better comedies, yeah I'd put it over MF now too. Nice surprise at the end with Penny's juggies.

I really like this show a lot as well. Just discovered it this season. But to be a contrarian , I'd point out that I don't find Kim Bauer even remotely funny on this show as Alex and think all her jokes fall flat. Everyone else is hilarious though.

Her schtick of being the dumb one may get old eventually, but I'm enjoying it for now. I think her delivery is great.

I don't know if I'd go as far as to say this is better than Modern Family. Let's just say it's an hour of TV that I look forward to most every week.

The skinny, bony, harsh-looking blonde bitch is the only character I can't stand. If I was a character on the show I'd strangle her and dump her over little Wayans' balcony.

Between Run DMC's King of Rock, Penny in a bra, and the curses at the end... Loved it!

All the ladies look great in this episode.

Loved Alex's headache.

And Jane's angry stare at her husband. That was great.

Superb episode.
