I haven't seen Finding Bigfoot, but I am loving Mountain Monsters, where every monster is "that son-of-a-bitch!"

Spoiler:
I don't think they'll ever find Bigfoot.

really? you think?

the show works (for me) because the crew is pretty interesting to watch and interact with one another.

and the witnesses' stories are pretty interesting as well.

But the entire concept is pointless.

Still watching and still nothing; they even have 2 hour special episodes and absolutely nothing.

They need to go to a hot spot for bigfoots and stay there.

While I fall squarely into the "you can't find what doesn't exit" camp, I agree that if they ever have any chance of finding one of these things, they need to stake out some area, most likely in the Pacific Northwest, and settle in for the long haul.

I was thinking of this thread last night while I was watchng The Legend of Mick Dodge. It was a full moon, so he likes to dress up as bigfoot and plant foot steps and scare the hikers. It was too funny.

Great news, fellow squatchers! Finding Bigfoot is coming back with a special on Discovery+. Hopefully this will lead to a return for the series so they can finally find the big guy.

I used to enjoy this show, but I can't see myself paying extra for streaming just to watch it.

The one episode when Renae saw eyeshine and they had rocks thrown at them was pretty spooky. I don't think the crew on the show would have faked that, but you never know.

Re: Finding Bigfoot thread

In some of the earlier episodes, I think the crew did fake at least one "encounter," and they fessed up to it either in the show, or an aftershow.

Ugh, I thought the thread bump was going to be because they found him. Thanks for ruining my night!

With the advent of FLIR cameras for civilians couldn't they just settle it once and for all with a drone covering entire large areas of woods outfitted with one?

It's an irrational belief. It will never be settled "once and for all" for those that believe in it.

Oh yeah -rolleyes-

To me if you enjoy cryptids it's much more enjoyable to listen to the Lore podcast. More mystery and intrigue sprinkled with history lessons.
