I thought it was a good episode. Not as laugh out loud funny as others, but I liked it. Luke is gold, just like his Dad. ("Are you crazy?" "You tell me...")

I totally bought Cam trying to find the tupperware just for the principle of the situation. He was tired of being mocked about something he knew he was right about. It's a sitcom, and the actions taken for something like this are exaggerated for comedy. I loved seeing him on the floor amongst a huge mess, foot through a broken drawer, saying "I believe this came with a lid."

Also really liked Phil and Alex: "Can I have this doll?" "You can have all the dolls you want." "This one's $200." "Or just this one."

I liked most everything that didn't involve Cam and Mitchell.

One or both of them are often the worst part of the show.

I thought that whole scene was hilarious. Anything involving the pairing for Manny and Luke is usually gold.

Sucked.
Not being a prick - but do you have a teenaged daughter? Maybe it's funnier to people that can place that into context in their lives. I thought Phil's handling of it was freaking hilarious and spot on for him. And Alex laughing in the car when Phil said "Haley's aversion"...good stuff. The music playing when Manny drove by in the car was great, too.

That probably was the biggest laugh for me...how he just calmly said "This came with a lid."

Wow, polarizing episode. I was laughing hard several times, one of the funniest episodes in recent memory. I loved when Claire got out of her car and was bowled over by Gloria's obnoxious greeting as the camera pans over.

Slightly off topic but not really (didn't know where else to put it): Sofia Vergara's first TV commercial when she was 17.

I remember that commercial. Had no idea it was Sofia Vergara though.

Re: Modern Family -- "Virgin Territory" -- 2/22/12

The Manny/Luke car scene gave me a good laugh.

Luke: We've got a full tank of gas and she's right down the block. Now buckle up.
Manny: Are you crazy?!
Luke: You tell me! (with crazy eyes)

I don't think the Haley virgin stuff was meant to come off as funny - so I wasn't bothered that it didn't make me laugh. It was sad and sweet at the same time. Haley saying that she had a cool dad was touching.

I don't think it was meant to be a laugh riot. It was a touching plotline that a lot of dads could probably relate to.

Not Tupperware® brand, AFAIK.

As a dad I really don't care to see it in my sit-coms. Kind of an uncomfortable subject any way it's presented
