It's looking less and less like that's the case, unfortunately.

I actually found a lot of the farm stuff to be pretty compelling. There was a real sense of menace to the place (which was then confirmed) and a lot of interesting tension in the group. Plus there were plenty of moments where they broke it up with the zombie in the well, the trips into town, etc.

I had no real problems with the way they did it.

I'm with you. I've enjoyed the whole thing. And the ratings say that the complainers are the vocal minority.

FX would treat this show much better than AMC is.

Are you saying everything that has happened on the show has taken place in a span of 2 weeks?

Correct. There are other sites where people have worked out the timeline. It's been 12 days since Rick woke up in the hospital.

Yes - it would make sense to stay on the farm as long as possible. But ... this is a show. It's about the viewers. I think the biggest issue with the farm-plot is the amount of time it is taking compared to the earlier settings. The retirement home and the CDC were far more interesting and had just as much, if not more, potential. However we breezed through those to spend how many episodes on the farm doing virtually nothing?

Good alternate name for the walkers: lamebrains.
Just watched this episode last night, and enjoyed it for the most part. As others have commented, Lori driving off and having the wreck just made no sense at all.

My favorite part was when Rick shot those two guys in the bar.

I really wish Lori and Shane would die. They annoy the shit out of me. Maybe it's just because I've watched all the eps of this show within the last two months. Maybe if I had been watching it on a weekly basis, in small doses, they wouldn't annoy me so much.
