Synopsis:

Directed by Peyton Reed ("Yes Man," "The Break-Up," "Bring It On")

Against Nick's wishes, Jess makes it her mission to get the loft's cantankerous landlord (guest star Jeff Kober, "Sons of Anarchy") to like her. In doing so, she inadvertently jeopardizes their living situation and the guys are forced to admit they've made some "unofficial" changes to the apartment. Meanwhile Schmidt tries to decipher what he thinks are mixed signals from his boss Kim (guest star Gillian Vigman) in the all-new "The Landlord" episode of NEW GIRL airing Tuesday, Feb. 7 (9:00-9:31 PM ET/PT) on FOX. She's everybody's wife. I can't tell you how many times I've seen her playing a wife in commercials over the last few years. But yes, she's Jack's wife.

Does anyone know the name of the actor who played Remy? He reminded me of Eric Roberts, but my wife insists he wasn't ugly enough to be Eric Roberts. (her words not mine)

:lol: I could've swore it was Roberts, then read the DirecTV episode description and it said it was Jeff Kober.

At first I thought it was Thomas Haden Church. Then I recognized Jeff Kober. He was pretty good. And the episode was pretty darn funny. I've only seen a few eps of this show, and parts of a few more, but it definitely seems much better than the usual lame Fox sitcoms.

Veronica Mars is the only show I remember the actor from and he was pretty much a straight man in that obviously. He's gold in this. I think this guy is close to what a real-life Barney Stinson would be.

Remy calling Nick the Underpants Captain made me laugh out loud. Pretty funny stuff. I also think they should throw Schmidt the occasional bone (no pun intended). He doesn't need to be the butt monkey ALL the time. Like when he and CeeCee finally hooked up. That was a nice moment.
