What series finale are you looking forward to the most?
 

Kind of a play on the other thread about past finales. From what you're currently watching, what series finale are you looking forward to the most?

I love Dexter and Mad Men but I know the one that will hit the hardest will be Breaking Bad.

I'm not looking forward to any finale but since the only show I religiously follow and am a huge fan of is Breaking Bad... then that's my choice. I also want to see what the finale of Sons of Anarchy will be like but since that will probably last for another 5 years I'm not in a rush. I just want to see how cheesy and played out it will be.

Breaking Bad - Last season finale could've served as a series finale, so I can only hope that the true finale is as good.

I'd say Breaking Bad. It's so well written, I have to believe the finale will be amazing.

Dexter because I want to see some real shit hit the fan for Dexter, just as the final moments of this last season made things interesting.

Weeds - since it would mean this turd of a show would finally end.

Mad Men was renewed for 3 more seasons counting this upcoming season and Matt Weiner hasn't given a definitive indication that season 7 will be the last, so I can't see I'm looking forward to it. Even if season 7 were the last, that won't air until 2014.

And Dexter was renewed for 2 more seasons, so the "Series Finale" won't air until 2013. I'm looking forward to seeing how it ends eventually, but that's still over a year away.

As for shows that are close to/will end soon, I would say:

One Tree Hill (ending this season)

The Closer (ending this summer)

House (up in the air if this season is the last)

Fringe (possibly ending after this season)

Supernatural. End of season five would have been great if it had ended the way they wanted. Great show that could come up with an epic finale.

Literal laugh-out-loud. But my sentiments exactly. After 8(+?) years it better not be a let down.


Personally right now the series finale I'm most looking forward to is "One Tree Hill." I never thought the show would last nearly a decade but I've watched more or less since the pilot (and was a junior in high school). I just hope that Schwan doesn't go crazy and gives the show a proper series finale that is more about the characters and not some stupid plot points.

Also for me at least the series finale of "Chuck" - I'm still catching up on this one and I'm mid-season 4.


As for a series finale for a series that isn't anywhere near finished, I can't help but think "True Blood" or "Shameless".
