Sheldon and Amy were pretty funny in their bits. Kripke was predictable, but still funny.

Waiting for the speech impediment groups to start waising a wuckus.

All three plots were funny. Why was Raj able to talk to Bernadette at dinner? Was he already drinking?

Loved Penny's face when Leonard handed her the "beta notes". Glad to see them back together.

Me too.

Also Becky O'donahue?

Yes, his glass of wine was already in his hand as he answered the door

I really liked the Raj/Siri bit. The Leonard/Penny plot was of course predictable but entertaining. I'm not sure why Fun with Flags suddenly appeared but it definitely was amusingly bizarre ... and it was nice to see the return of the gold lion rampant on a field of azure. ;)

Hate Kripke. Such an easy joke. I would expect better out of a show like this. I cringe every time he is on.

Glad to see Sheldon & Amy in the background of this one, they get too much attention IMO.

I guess I'm the exact opposite, I think Kripke is hilarious.

Oh, I was hoping that his relationship with Siri would lead to his being able to speak to women.

I don't hate the character but I think it would have been better for him to have a mild speech impediment instead of full blown Elmer Fudd. I think he's a pretty funny character on his own so the speech thing is just over the top.

Really? I get big laughs out of the show, so I'm a fan, but this show is not exactly high brow wit. It's pretty much disposable entertainment catering the almost least common denominator.

And the show has definitely pandered more and more to the l.c.d. as it has aged. I haven't found the Kripke stuff funny at all in a long time.

I agree that sort of humor is typical, Big Bang Theory has always had little cheap gags like that. I disagree that its pandering more and more though.

I think they'll take baby steps with Raj and have him be able to speak to Penny and maybe even Bernadette and Amy. I figure at some point he'll think of these women as more like his sisters than chicks he wants to bang.

BTW, Becky O'Donohue played the human Siri. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1659558/

Pretty much. It's a half-hour of chuckles (hopefully) and then moving on.

Baby steps? This is season 5! Can't get much slower than that.

I'm happy that Sheldon chose his first flag to be from the great state of Oregon. The only two-sided flag in the USA :)

"Fun with Flags" had us rolling. The Raj plot was pretty strange. Penny and Leonard were okay.

I don't care either way. I mean they are not Ross and Rachel, right?

I still watch and for the most part enjoy the show, but all of the relationships are what bring it down a few notches from the first couple of years for me.

Another downer was when Bernadette started talking like Howard's mom not too long ago, ugh. That's all I hear now when she talks, even in her whiny voice.
