Did he say he wanted to go for a walk to clear his head and he went onto Red Dead to do it?

That was one of the cleverest bits of the series.

Completely out of character for Sheldon to bring a comic book into the bathroom!

Amy's reaction to the tiara made the episode

Most of the episode was kind of boring, sans the Red Dead Redemption stuff but I agree, the tiara was awesome

Howard and Bernadette haven't really been funny since they first started dating (and even then it was iffy) and falling back more and more on Howard and his mom for humor is getting old.

While it was obvious that Amy was going to gush uncontrollably when she got the gift, but I was impressed by how well Mayim Bialik (who I normally hate) sold it. Kudos to the writers also for having such an over-the-top gift be a tiara.

Was it me, or did some of the characters feel off in this episode? It was like the shows been away for a year and the characters sound/act a bit different. Especially Sheldon, he was a lot less robotic than usual.

Maybe, but I would not be surprised if Sheldon is the kind of comic book fan who buys two copies of each issue; one to archive away in pristine condition, and one to use as a reading copy.

The setup and reaction was completely predictable but Bialik turned it into the #1 scene for the series for me. Fucking hysterical.
