Aw man, she was so toast when her dad's no-drink lifestyle came up. Too bad because none of the other 3 are all "that" either. Ben's not really ready to commit to any of the ladies, it's pretty apparent. Plus his hair style makes him look like a tool.

I think Kacie will probably be the next Bachelorette but her dad played it the right way. If my daughter - God forbid - went on a show like this and then brought that tool-box home, I'd make it very clear that this relationship would not work and he needs to get the fuck out of my house.

I hope he chooses Courtney and we get a battle royale at the After the Rose show.

Edit: I think Ben also saw Kacie's sister (and while Kacie is cute I thought her sister was actually cuter) and questioned keeping around a chick that wasn't even the hottest in her family.

It's too late for KacieB to be the next Bachelorette. They already picked Emily from Brad's season. Unless you mean the next Bachelorette after the next Bachelorette. And by that time, she's very likely to have been forgotten. It's likely to go like this:

And good god I hope Kacie B. (short for Bore) is never chosen as the Bachelorette. She's better looking than Ashley by a little bit, but you could make a case for her being more annoying. No thanks.

It did seem kind of mean spirited to do that but I think it went over Emily's head because she said something along the line of wanting something like Rose and Jack had, which she actually already had.

I thought Ben was a total dick to Kacie when she came back to talk to him in Switzerland. Sure, more face time on TV for her... but she did fly to Switzerland to tell you how much she cared and to look out for yourself. Dick didn't even say goodbye to her or a half-hearted "thank you". She also made herself look totally pathetic by laying down in the hallway and whining about her life. Come on, you're a hot 24 year old chick with a stream of endless boners in your future!

Fair enough question. I can't really cite an example of something specific but it was just a feeling I got when I watched the show. It was a combination of the way she handled the daughter situation and her mannerisms. She was very preoccupied with appearance and she just came across as disingenuous. It's been a while so it is hard for me to remember exactly what bugged me. I could be wrong about her ...

Did anyone else watch last night? Nothing really spectacular, except Courtney showed up, first time they had someone from the final two show up to the reunion show.

Even Courtney showing up wasn't "spectacular". What I saw was a lot of juvenile cattiness and Courtney attempting an image rehab the likes of which we've never seen. In Michelle's ("Brad") case, she actually did get a bit of a bad edit and had a wry sense of humor. The girls did not generally dislike her when she was in the house. And even after seeing some of the stuff she said, they kind of forgave her and accepted her explanations. Courntey? She left with the same 1-2 friends she came with. It doesn't take long of listening to these girls before you realize they're very young.

Next week is the finale followed by After The Final Rose taking the normal Castle spot.

I love the National Geographic aspect of the show (beautiful locations in HD) but I'm kind of dreading a season of watching Emily as the next Bachelorette. Maybe I'll just drop my season pass so I'm not tempted.

She had a lot of different looks with her hair, but I noticed a few of the girls gained weight between the first episode and later on. I will be polite and not call anyone out in particular, but they must serve them great food in that bachelor brothel.

Courtney came across as very disingenuous again -- she refuses to look people in the eye when speaking to them or getting feedback.

Anyone catch her say "I loved Ben... I mean, I love him"? I wonder if she was instructed to say that to throw off the viewers that maybe she lost? I took her appearance on this episode to mean she won and this was a total image rehab opportunity --- FAIL!
