Not exactly but close.
It was a dr who wants to go on a date with Angel. Steven Tobolowsky who we see waaaay too much of on Californication.
This show could be really good and would be a halfway decent show without the dressing as woman thing.
They old have just done a man in a womans workplace thing instead.
The boss is funny and beautiful. Rebecca Mader is great and the co-worker is
A riot just zany enough without being too over the top.
Too bad, there is some funny stuff going on here that is away from the cross dressing bits.

I didn't watch this. I thought it looked horrid from the previews and was shocked to see that there actually was a thread on this here. I just had to click on it to see if it could possibly be better than those previews. I guess not.

It's canceled.
ABC Dumps "Work It," Opens Door for "Cougar Town"
I don't think this news shocks anybody here. This show had 2 and done written all over it. I didn't think it would be possible for any show to be as bad as How To Be A Gentleman this season, but Work It came pretty damn close.
So I say bring on (only our women wear dresses) Cougar Town!
DJariya, I hope this was a good reason to bump this thread...
ABC Dumps "Work It," Opens Door for "Cougar Town"
ABC has pulled its much-ballyhooed comedy "Work It" from its lineup after two airings, bookings by the network confirmed this evening.
The series delivered 5.10 million viewers and a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49 this past Tuesday, a 20% decline from its premiere audience in the key demographic (2.0 adults 18-49 rating).
The Alphabet gave its previous Tuesday, 8:30/7:30c occupant "Man Up!" the hook after posting similar numbers (4.77 million viewers, 1.6 adults 18-49 rating) on December 6.
Repeats of lead-in "Last Man Standing" will fill the time period for the rest of the month.
Said development was followed by a barrage of tweets from "Cougar Town" co-creator Bill Lawrence, who indicated he's "hoping CT's premiere date will be announced Tuesday."

Awesome news. That fucking show was a waste of money. Paul Lee should be embarrassed he greenlit it.
Cougar Town needs some promotion. I just saw in the story that Last Man Standing repeats will air in the timeslot for the rest of the month. Hopefully ABC promotes the hell out of Cougar Town.

Yeah, I hope they promote Cougar Town. I don't want this to be its last season.
I still think they were wrong in deciding not to rename the show. All my guy friends think I'm insane for watching a show called Cougar Town.

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — ABC's "Work It" is off duty.
The network said Saturday that the sitcom about two men who dress as women to look for work is off the schedule after only two episodes aired. The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation had protested the series, saying it mocked the transgender community.
"Work It" attracted little interest from viewers. The Nielsen company said the second episode on Tuesday was seen by less than five million people.
GLAAD's Herndon Graddick said Saturday that it was an outdated show. But he said it started a dialogue about discrimination faced by transgender people.
