Pretty lame episode.

It didn't help that I watched this right after a fucking awesome episode of Homeland tonight.

The villains in this episode sucked. Really? Batista's little sister and Morgan Grimes real life brother. Horrible casting and the plot with the kids being kidnapped was so by the numbers.

Pretty funny that CBS used Dexter actors 2 nights in a row on their shows. Jennifer Carpenter was on The Good Wife last night in the same timeslot as Dexter and tonight it was Aimee Garcia.

The only interesting aspect was Joe White's little side investigation and that he's hiding something from Steve.

I haven't watched this yet but does McGarrett go all Dirty Hairy and say: "You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?"

There's nothing more heart string tugging than the bad guy taking a busload of children. We need a new standard.

So they told the Navy about their foray into North Korea? Say what?

rotfl at the bad chick saying "I hate heroes" right before her demise.

^^ Yeah that made no sense. The guy conducting the meeting was acting like he was impressed they did it.

Hell, I didn't even know whatever his (Locke) name is was still in the Navy. He's sure got a lot of free time on his hands. Then again I still have no idea what McGarrett's status is.

O'Quinn's name is Joe White

He's still active and is the same rank as McGarrett. Earlier in the season he said he came to Hawaii to train some new Seals. That's how he met McGarrett.

McGarrett left Naval Intelligence in the Pilot episode because of his father's death. Then-Governor Jameson then gave him the job as 5-O task force leader.

I thought McGarrett was on leave rather than quit. Why is he still called Commander if he is no longer in the army?

Obviously she gave him the job as the leader of 50 but they never made it clear whether he was actually in or out of the Navy, particularly since he is still frequently referred to as Commander.

I cracked up that they started digging through a mound of dirt that looked several stories tall and wide...and just happened to find the front of the van right there!

I also love how they always capture a shot of the new woman relieved when McGarrett is safe. Don't want us to forget she has a thang for him.

I've grown to like Lori a little more, but I don't want them to force a romantic relationship with her and Steve just because they are 2 attractive people who work closely together.

I heard they plan to bring Steve's "friend" Catherine back later this season. That is a couple that I actually think is believable since she and Steve worked together in the Navy and have a past together. Plus, Michelle Borth IMO is way hotter than Lauren German.

The last thing this show is subtle which is part of what makes it so unintentionally hilarious.

I like kidnap and ransom plots, but this episode was just all right for me. Maybe it was because that chick wasn't menacing enough

Thank you! I couldn't for the life of me place him(other than the most recent episode of Burn Notice). Band of Brothers! I had no idea they were related, mostly because I didn't know Rick Gomez's name.
