Agreed. I actually thought Emma was the best part of every sketch she was in. I thought her creepy beauty pageant girl was great. I just wish they had found something better to do with the character than the tired Match Game routine. And if they insist on doing Match Game over and over, in the very least they need to swap out Wiig's character for someone else. They squeezed that one dry of comic potential long ago.

The Herb bit was great the first time, but this has to be the laziest attempt at a recurring sketch I've ever seen.

Agreed, especially when she brought out Mr. Pickles.

Love Emma too but this was another poor SNL episode. I liked the bridal shower sketch somewhat but that was all.

I wonder why they keep going back to these sketches that don't work particularly well the first time around? Are they written by staff writers? I mean they did the catchphrase comedy sketch a couple of weeks back and it wasn't really funny the first time around much less funny enough to go back to the well a second time.

Hulu didn't have the Adele sketch or the French Dancing one (if they were part of the episode).

Good point. She fills that slot very nicely and without the stealing, crack addiction, and creepy parents.

Terrible episode from start to finish, with the exception of WU. I'd stick my tongue far enough up Stone's ass to know what she had for breakfast, but she just does nothing for me as an actress or comedienne.

Both used existing songs so I assume it has something to do with music clearances.

This ep. was painful to watch. Stone is very talented, and was giving her all in every sketch, but alas she could not save the material. It's quite frustrating viewing individuals with great abilities flounder away on this show, like what happened with Jane Lynch last year. Not everyone has the ability to make everything work like Alec Baldwin of Jon Hamm . :(

Heard about it from viewers on Hulu but I don't watch SNL on TV so I missed both.

I've tried that many times. It doesn't work. No matter what the girl eats for breakfast, it just tastes like dookie. The deeper you dig, the dookier it tastes.

I never commented when it first aired but I have to say that I love that recurring skit "Les Jeunes de Paris". I believe that the first one was with Miley Cyrus and the last two has been with Emma Stone.

The French songs that they choose along with the dancing (especially Bobby Moynihan) makes crack up every single time.

I didn't feel like watching this episode again so I went on Netflix and cranked up the Best of Jimmy Fallon and I gotta say I laughed my ass off. That "Cork Soak" skit is pure gold and I had totally forgot about it.

Sorry back to topic.

Re-running the devil skit about Joe Paterno was amazing timing.
