I liked it, laughed out loud a few times.

But this 'we used to be in a relationship and now we want to be friends but it's hard since we used to be in a relationship but we want to be friends' has been an albatross on the neck of the last two episodes. It just isn't working and they need to drop it. The UN would have been funnier if all that stuff was left unspoken and handled a little better.

I think it works--these two people aren't the most emotionally mature. Actually no one on the show is, except for Jerry, which is a great meta-joke actually.

It's all the lame dialogue. If it were handled as a joke it would be funny. All the lame dialogue kills it for me. "You remember last week when we talked about only being friends but how hard it was because we were once in a relationship? Well let's discuss that yet again this week in our little aside about wanting to be friends but it being hard because we were once in a relationship, but we aren't any more, but we want to be friends."

If all that drivel had been omitted and the UN would have went down the way it did it would have been far funnier, with both of them - emotionally immature as they are - pretending everything was normal, but the actions giving it away.

This stuff is the first time since I've been watching that the writing was weak enough that it stuck out at me. Even the e720 stuff that was a little overplayed wasn't this weak to me.
