Really great episode. From the opening theme being redone as a superhero theme, to the reference of the theme song in dialog, to the fight sequence using well placed signs to put in the classic comic fight sound bubbles, this was a very inventive episode.
The mystery itself wasn't too much of a mystery (they kinda gave away the Mantis very early on), but the final twist was good, and everything else was awesome. Best episode of this run, and that's saying a lot.

Now that was a really fun episode and I enjoyed it more than last week's vampire one.
It was evident from the beginning that the Mantis wasn't hanging tough, but with Psych the mystery portion is really secondary. Kudos though for the twist at the end that was mentioned above, I did not see that coming.
I have to second the inventive way they used the Batman type "POW!" things and the special theme song was killer! Also liked how Shawn had dual jealously going on with the Mantis.
"Damn it, I had a handful of gummy worms in my jacket that he probably won’t even eat!"

I didn't recognize the New Kid until the Psych-out at the end of the episode with them dancing.

Another great episode! This show is really firing on all cylinders this season.
I, too, loved the song lyric-as-dialogue bit.
I think my favorite part may have been when Shawn and Gus were arguing about Gus using the word "cozened," all while the Mantis is kicking their asses.

Totally loved this episode. Loved the fight scene with all the POW's and WHIFF's. And Gus's Tap Man shtick had me rolling. Good stuff.
I had no idea that was a NKOTB until the end.
