Re: Best ONE Season Show ever ?
I was going to go with Firefly, Wonderfalls, or Freeks and Geeks, but they have all been mentioned. How about Strange Luck

Re: Best ONE Season Show ever ?
To the already mentioned "Freaks & Geeks", "Miracles", & "Chicago Code", I'll add
Oliver Beene
Vengeance Unlimited (1998-1999) with Michael Madsen, basically a redo of "The Equalizer"
I thought Brooklyn Bridge was only one season, but IMDB says 2 and the internet is never wrong, so I can't include it.

Surface deserves kudos for having Lake Bell in a bikini at least.
I think that Invasion was the better "strange creatures in the water" one season show that aired that year.
I'll also add Point Pleasant. Not the best, but it was decent. I watched the unaired episodes on DVD.

Fastlane! Nice pick. I love me some Tiffani (not Amber!) Thiessen. It also reminds me of another FOX show I really liked: Jonny Zero. (Not sure if that even lasted a full season, though).

Human Target. Great show. A short while another show appeared with the same title but that has no relation to the original.
Firefly was great as well. Although technically the movie, Serenity, was season two.
Yes it was. Well, except for the crappy ending. But the UK version had a terrible ending as well.

Johnny Staccato (1959-1960)
Dan Raven (1960-1961)
Honey West (1965-1966)
It's About Time (1966-1967) - stupid, but I like it
My World and Welcome to It (1969-1970)
VR.5 (1995)

The second version of Human Target started in 2010 and aired two seasons. I don't know if I would call the 18 years between them a short while though. Aren't they both the adaptations of the same comic book? I haven't seen the first series.

Excellent choice! I was in disbelief that it didn't get a second season.
Others I would add:
Swingtown
My So Called Life
Relativity
I suppose I would've watched another season of John From Cincinnati, but I was definitely in the 'bitter that it took Deadwood's place' camp. Make that extremely bitter...

I assume you are referring to the 1992 version of Human Target which lasted for just one season. It starred Rick Springfield as Christopher Chance.

I wasn't aware of the '92 version.
This.
