YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the faith that FOX has shown in this show. FOX is really getting good about this...they even gave the Sarah Connor Chronicles a 2nd season after its bad first season ratings.

I am in shock. Happy Shock. I just can't believe it!
While I love the show and I have been very thankful for season 4, the ratings just don't justify the renewal - thank goodness Warner Brother's bottom line does.

I guess Fox really is more willing to give a show a chance than they used to be.

13 episodes is better. Less villian a week stories and more of the overall story at a high octane speed.

I really can't help but think Jericho started all this. I was a small part of the 'NUTS' campaign, and it's seemed like ever since then, shows with cult followings like this are much more likely to get second and third chances.

more likely that WB gave FOX the show for next to nothing. Fox could have done much better honestly then renewing a show with 3 million viewers and 1.0 demos. Still no syndication deal yet for a show with 80+ episodes already. Can 2 million viewers and CW demos be far behind?

This. If only we could turn back the clocks on that decision. Maybe Firefly has had multiple seasons in the other Fringe universe.
Really happy about the renewal. 13 episodes should let the writers really move the story along to a great conclusion, without any of the MOTW episodes.

Great news. Very happy. I've watched every week since day 1.
JH Wyman was pretty optimistic in his tweets this week about the renewal.
To show WB my appreciation, I'm going to purchase the season 4 BD release week and pay the $35-40.
Kevin Reilly is the man! Despite bad ratings, he supports shows that he thinks are good and that he knows has a fanbase. When he was at NBC, he renewed Friday Night Lights for a 2nd season when it probably didn't deserve one either.

... and I'll do a marathon before the 5th Season airs!
My 14yo son and 12 yo daughter started watching with me mid season this season. They want to bust out the blus and catch up this summer.
