Well, that was simply fucking awesome. This show can pack in a helluva lot in less than 45 minutes. All the characters got some good screen time. Loving the Evil Stefan storyline. And it's always fun when Katherine shows up.
Klaus: "It's always nice to see a vampire in his true element. The species has become such a broody lot."

When Stefan bit Elena, I thought they were ending the episode right there, yet there was still plenty to go. What a great episode.

I think this sums up what is great about this show. There are so many scenes that would be cliffhangers on other shows. Here something happens, you yell out jesus christ, and then see there is still a half hour left.

Okay, this episode was fricking amazing. Suspenseful and fucking violent as hell. Klaus is one diabolical psychopath. The whole mind control thing he was playing with Stefan was so well done. And I thought Nina Dobrev was great in that scene too. The whole deal with Klaus ordering Stefan to murder those 2 students was quite shocking.
at Caroline's blouse. I was really disappointed though that we didn't see a cat fight with her and Rebecca.
Just realized that Claire Holt, who plays Rebecca, also plays Samara on Pretty Little Liars...Emily's ex-girlfriend.
at Matt committing "suicide" to communicate with Vicky.
Very interesting that the roles of Damon and Stefan seem to be in reverse with Stefan embracing his inner Ripper.
This show has alot of balls. I give the writers credit for taking chances.

What a great episode. This felt like a bunch of season finales all wrapped into one. They amaze week after week with the shock value.
I must say, I was impressed with how creepy Stephan suddenly became after Klaus turned off his "human" switch. Paul Wesley really took Ripper to the next level.
I agree, too bad we didn't get a Caroline and Rebecca fight.
Nice to see Jeremy getting more involved, even if it's not really by choice thanks to Katherine.
Oh the irony of Matt finding his sister by "killing" himself.
Getting some vampire hunter action going! I'm curious if they'd make him Klaus and Rebecca's dad. I guess that could mean Klaus only had to kill his siblings to become a hybrid?

The actress playing Caroline has had a lot of work done. I was watching something she was in that was made four years ago and I barely recognized her. If it wasn't for the voice I might have missed her altogether. Apparently she is closer to being a natural redhead than anything.

I'm not sure what work, if any, she's had done, however, like Emma Stone, she's a natural blonde who at one point had her hair dyed red.
