I liked the return of the ducky tie, but otherwise the episode wasn't too hot. The Ted, Marshall, & Lily plot was right out of the "worst sitcom plot ideas in history" playbook.
Sooo... how is Robin telling a story inside of future Ted's story?

I was surprised to see Kal Penn back on TV. He really did a very poor job as the doctor. What a waste of a cameo.

I loved the Survivor cameo and enjoyed some of Barney's Bimbo Delivery Systems. The rest didn't work that well.

Penn is not doing a cameo, this is a recurring role. Hence, the question about Robin keying the judge's car and Robin respond with oh. Evidently, Robin is going to be in anger management for awhile.
