The Barney/Lily stuff was great. The Ted/Victoria stuff was predictable but nice as usual. I just hope this season doesn't turn into a season of Ted and Robin drama.

Yep, pretty much how i felt. Plus we know the Ted/Robin stuff gets us nowhere since he's already called her Aunt Robin to his kids. Anyway, me like most(ie everyone here) stopped caring about that a few seasons ago

I wouldn't(won't) mind if the show continues after Ted meets Mrs. (or the future Mrs.) Ted, but I'm really getting sick of the hunt. Count me among those that hopes for Victoria's return.

Poor Barney can never win. Stupid Marshall and Lily.

Same here. I hope she pops back in, but I have a feeling her bit is done with that last piece of advice.

I must be the only one here that likes Ted's hunt. While I love the gang together hanging out and having adventures, I also like the thread tieing this show together.

I absolutely loved the dinner table negotiation between Barney and Lily. I rewound that thing 3 times right after the handshake, and then after I was done with the episode, I watched it 2 more times. Laughed my head off every damn time.

Laughed a LOT during this episode. Yeah, I like Ted/Robin together, but unless they're really going to screw with us at the end of the series like GuessWho said, it's kind of lame knowing it ultimately goes nowhere. And aren't Barney and whatshername dating now? How would she feel about him seeing Lily's boobs. That was sort of weird. But still made for a hilarious episode.

Great episode. The entire storyline with Barney planning that bet months in advance was inspired. I liked how they inter-cut that with the Ted and Victoria plot, which I enjoyed as well.

If the show holds true to how they've handled these things in the past, he'll wear it in every episode. Or they'll re-bet it off with something else. But I guarantee they won't forget.

Thought this episode was gold. Highlights were Barney throwing food from his chopsticks to his mouth, the Klaus-class conversation, plus the return of "sonofabitch" and "bang, bang, a bang bang bangity bang".

Interested to see what they do with Robin and the gang. But for the last time, Robin will NOT be the mother. If "Aunt Robin" isn't enough, we know for a fact the mother lived with Rachel Bilson's character and that simply cannot be Robin.

In the 1st episode this season, they did a flash forward to I think Marshal and Barney at a casino. I think they were saying how Marshal got drunk again. Barney can be seen wearing the ducky tie. Can't wait to see more of it.

That is awesome. There is no other sitcom (or any show on TV for that matter) that handles continuity as well as HIMYM.

In the 1st espisode of this season, Barney also contemplates wearing the Ducky tie during the wedding. Ted even says to his kids that the story about the Ducky tie is great but more on that later.
