The only thing that didn't work for me was Abed's storyline. Not that the British show wasn't funny, but I just don't buy that Abed, of all people, wouldn't know that Cougartown was adapted from a UK series. Or that UK shows tend to be ridiculously short. Also kind of hard to believe he wouldn't have seen Doctor Who (except for the episodes that were erased).

Also, what was with Pierce and Jeff having their "you lied about bribing him" conversation in full view of the other members of the group? Was that just awkward blocking or was it supposed to be an unexpected reveal? Either way, it just seemed a little off.

So I'm only giving this episode an "A". If they want the "+" they'll have to earn it.

What does "Two Broke Girls" have to do with it? It aired opposite "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS which got great ratings. Shouldn't you hate that show instead?

Because he hates 2 Broke Girls and because it got really high ratings, it's probably going to get a full season and get renewed for a 2nd, while Community will continue to be labeled a "bubble" show until May.

I wasn't referring to what airs opposite, but the love for crappy sitcoms in general. It's just frustrating (like always) to see quality shows like Community and Parks & Rec getting worse and worse ratings while crap like Broke, BBT etc. get's great ratings.

Meh episode. Agreed that it made no sense that Abed didn't know those details.

I've bitched about it last season, and I'm doing it again since the writers keep repeating themselves... it feels like every second episode is about someone leaving the group and/or trying to get back into the group. Really... who fucking cares?
